I had to wait to vault the Italy collections because I wanted to compare the loot drop rates of the Bronze Level of Region 5 to the Ruby Level
(1). The collection items are very easy to get and drop all over the place. Here are how many collection items I received from doing 1,000 jobs in Italy. You can only hold 5 of each item in your inventory at one time so any that drop afterward are wasted.
Italy was performed on my energy account so I wasn't that excited about getting any of the vault bonuses. I did like the +10% Item drop in Italy because I could compare the new theoretical drop rate with the one I had performed prior to vaulting the collection. I double checked and all skill bonuses were delivered as promised.
The +10% drop rate in Italy doesn't seem to exist when it comes to the loot items. My drop rate for Italy loot items was less than it was before I vaulted the Dinner is Served Collection. Italy is still in Beta and maybe the onus hasn't been activated. The number of total loot items dropped was 501 before and 534 after so I can't assume the bonus is only for building and collection items. Maybe it's possible that this intangible bonus doesn't exist. Stay tuned for more loot drop rate studies.

ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for Italy, but so far, from what I saw is only a lookalike of Las Vegas. But it's always good to have a new city to entertain me.
ReplyDeleteGetting to Italy depends on what server you are. that means the last 2 digits in your fb ID. it's the same thing with the hitlist. there are 20 servers and Zynga started to roll out Italy with server 1.

its mostly people who have platinum membership get access to italy and all other beta products you guys should really read the zynga pop ups on your game

Surely Zynga uses criteria to select players who have access to the new city and one of these criteria is certainly the status of loyalty.

For me after i get 5 of a particular item it stops dropping.
