Napoli is the Region of the consumables. You will encounter many roadblocks that require you to go back and make something in a different region. Hopefully you will follow my advice and load up on your consumable items. All the Cooked Books you made in Region 4 will be needed for the job that produces another consumable item required in some of the jobs. It feels just like NY when you had to use Concealable Cameras to make Black Mail Photos. Overall this Region was a pain but there are less jobs to perform and the experience ratios are a little better than the Regions before it.
Region 5 has 3 paths to choose from: Energy, Social, and Fight. Below are all the jobs of each path including the description, energy or stamina requirements, pay outs and experience/energy or stamina ratios. The social and fight paths contain 2 jobs that aren't common to the energy path.

The first job in the energy path, Snag a Lucrative Disposal Contract, produces the consumable Hidden Charges. The unique thing about this job is it also requires a consumable item to do the job. The Cooked Books you made in Region 4 will now be put to use.
Cooked Books can be made in Region 4 by performing the jobs Blackmail A Track Official in the energy path or Interrogate A Lackey in the fight path.
Your Hidden Charges won't last very long because you need them to perform one of the jobs in each path. Opting out of a path will not bypass the need to use Hidden Charges.
Energy and Social Path
Fight Path
Smart Phones are also needed for one job in each path. Smart Phones are produced in Region 4 by doing the job Free A Professional Assassin.Energy Path

Fight Path
The property job can be found on all 3 paths. The unique property building item that drops is the Football Player. When you master the Bronze Level, your Village Football Stadium will unlock. When you finish dealing with the consumable maze in each level, it will be time to do the last Boss Fight. Don Enzo Casazza is waiting for you in the Football Stadium Skybox. Zynga says he is trash but it's hard to tell because Tony and Joey, his Henchmen are scene stealer's. You can't really get a good view of Don Enzo. This Boss Fight didn't prove to be very challenging. The timer is shorter than in the other Regions but it really doesn't matter when you can easily take him out. I guess I'll save my Boss Fight consumables for the Region 6-8 Bosses. Hopefully they won't be as wimpy as the ones from Regions 1-5.
Level | Stamina Per Attack | Time | Health |
Bronze | 1 | 24 Hours | 700 |
Silver | 2 | 18 Hours | 1,050 |
Gold | 3 | 12 Hours | 2,100 |
Ruby | 4 | 6 Hours | 4,200 |
Once you win each boss fight you are rewarded with the mastery item Enzo's Monocle which is in the Armor category. The stats improve with each level of mastery and cap at 104 Attack and 155 Defense.
The Loot items that actually drop are a little different than the item that Customer Support said would drop. I only point out the discrepancies because that information has been all over the news feeds. The Italy 411, Factoids, and FAQ page was last updated on October 19th. A few things I noticed is there is still no class on the Asino from Region 1. I was told I was an Asino if I didn't know that it was a donkey but I had never heard that term before. In America we call it an ass. Without a visual image, it was hard to tell what it could be. I found that the Goshawk from Region 2 dropped in Region 5 and the Pulcinella which is listed as an Armor never dropped at all.
Here are all the loot items that dropped in Region 5.
Since RepeatJob Italy Beta by Team Spockholm has already been written, I decided to do a small loot drop study. I did 1,000 jobs in the Bronze and Ruby Levels. Below are my results. I was very surprised the the loot drop rate was actually higher on the Bronze Level. At first I thought I made a mistake and double checked everything. The runs were performed on two different days so it's possible things could have changed. This is the Beta test phase so I imagine many things will be adjusted. This is not the best time frame to perform these types of analyses. I was just curious.

I will update you on changes related to Italy as they happen. For more details visit the Mafia Wars Wiki Italy Page. Even if you don't need more details, you will be missing out if you don't check out what a great job everybody did at putting this page together. The graphics for each Region are amazing.
Can you please perform the bronze vs ruby level loot drop ratio check again now?
