thats awesome that they are working on it but its kinda lame that they 1) limit it to only 50 and 2) offer only 4 amounts to send, shud be a box to enter how many OR up to 999 at a time (there is already a sender out there that works via the gifting page and u can select from a drop down menu any amount of times to send (although only 1 at a time, they were able to fit into a scrolling bar 999 numbers, zynga should be able to do the same)

ReplyDeleteOnly about 50 accounts have it currently. Mainly the people who have been talking to Zynga about the gifting system. I was lucky that someone thought of me and added me to the list :) It won't be totally cool until everybody has it!

ReplyDeleteAny idea when it will be unrolled for everyone? That will be really handy, hopefully we'll be able to enter amounts manually, but a scroll down with increments up to at least 100 would be a very good start.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing: about 8-10 days ago I noticed that the "gifting" page was renamed to "trading", checked it out as I was hoping Zynga implemented trading but it was the same old gift page layout. Since then the "gifting" name came back though...
1) When you select 50 gifts to send did it transfer those right away or did it transfer one by one like the Chucker. If it transfer immediately then I think we have a winner here :)

3) When you were transferring were u able to play ur game in another tab?
Thanks Vijay, I have edited this post to answer your question. There was no waiting involved, it transfered everything right away. At one point there was a search bar on it but that is gone. My gifter wasn't working at that time so I couldn't test it out.
ReplyDeleteWell it won't be long before Arun works out a bookmarklet to do this so that we can send batches so that it will be even faster. Send 100x 50 each time will make it pretty quick to transfer those 10million car parts I'm sure.

ReplyDeletethe only worries I have as to anything Zynga does to make trading or gifting go faster is that it gives them the control of "big brother is watching" - They can see who is sending what & how much of what & as you know many have reported having accts disabled which are under suspect of not being a "real" person -
ReplyDeleteMy only fear of this is even something as harmless as our ladies group which is more of a gifting and support system may end up with a little flag going up-

ReplyDeleteI got it - since about 5 hours ago it's implemented in the game; with amount selector 1/5/10/25/50. nice feature - and really fast.
ReplyDeleteIt works great everyone ..i have a couple test examples for ya...ok first like normal I went 2 inventory...next = gifting then the normal loot/boosts/collections loaded....On the bottom now there was a drop down menu for the amount of Item In increments I saw up to 100 ....I loaded 5 Katars offered the 2 a fwllow PIF guest went back 2 new gift section In 2nd tab and chose friend to send to hit send done ....5 seconds later the you sent 5 katars to "mafia member" thats It ...lol what the recipient saw was " you received 5 titanium katars from {PIF}Paulie"two" times{PIF} and they report not having to accept one at a time ! all In one :-) talk soon , Paul
