[8/13/2010 4:44:28 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): aaron add anyone missed to the other roomm
[8/13/2010 4:44:30 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": This is like a Cheap Porn convention...LMAO
[8/13/2010 4:44:38 PM] aaron corbino: where is other room?
[8/13/2010 4:44:48 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Other room?
[8/13/2010 4:45:11 PM] vsahgal1: so just to start off.... my name is Vaibhav (Vee) I'm a senior PM, and Chris is in this chat as well, he is a PM. Both of us are in charge of gifting systems
[8/13/2010 4:45:17 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Ok guys we have V and Chris who are on the dev team focusing on ... never mind :)
[8/13/2010 4:45:24 PM] vsahgal1: gifting systems - free gifting + in-game gifting (trading)
[8/13/2010 4:45:42 PM] vsahgal1: sorry that '-' should have been a '=' :)
[8/13/2010 4:46:49 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): you have the audience we will allow you allto speak and save our comments and questions til you are done to save the chaos
[8/13/2010 4:46:49 PM] vsahgal1: first of all I know that there has been a lot of talk about how the community feels we don't care about gifting. Absolutely not true, we have a solid roadmap which we are working towards. There is just a lot to do and limited resources which is why sometimes things aren't as fast as they can be
[8/13/2010 4:47:14 PM] vsahgal1: our first task has been free gifting
[8/13/2010 4:47:50 PM] vsahgal1: the system needs to improve - it is the source of many exploits and bugs
[8/13/2010 4:48:27 PM] vsahgal1: our next taks after that is to start with improvements to in-game gifting (trading)
[8/13/2010 4:48:38 PM] vsahgal1: 1. Multi-item gifting
[8/13/2010 4:49:01 PM] vsahgal1: 2. Implementing a new philosophy of what is tradeable and what is not
[8/13/2010 4:49:32 PM] vsahgal1: 3. Better in-game gifting flows - adding filters to the friend selector on the gifting page, improving performance and quashing exploits
[8/13/2010 4:50:14 PM] vsahgal1: this is the plan for the next 3-4 weeks
[8/13/2010 4:50:28 PM] vsahgal1: any questions so far? :)
[8/13/2010 4:51:11 PM] Claude Tremblay: Are the gifting implementation slowed or limited by the security elements you guys are in the process of putting together
[8/13/2010 4:51:15 PM] Shane: is 3-4 weeks a realistic timeframe for us to see progress in all 3 of these areas or to see progress to begin in say area 1 that you mentioned?
[8/13/2010 4:52:02 PM] aaron corbino: Will we have input on any development of the trading/gifting?
[8/13/2010 4:52:02 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added Joe Caplan ***
[8/13/2010 4:52:21 PM] Dave McLaren: 1. Multi-item gifting
[8/13/2010 4:52:28 PM] vsahgal1: @Claude - yes. Security is part of the process
[8/13/2010 4:52:29 PM] Dave McLaren: You mean multi-sending?
[8/13/2010 4:53:00 PM] vsahgal1: @Shane - this is an estimate. But we are planning on this roadmap
[8/13/2010 4:53:19 PM] vsahgal1: @r8drman - let's talk about this for the long term plan in a few minutes
[8/13/2010 4:53:31 PM] vsahgal1: oops... yes
[8/13/2010 4:53:31 PM] aaron corbino: you got it V
[8/13/2010 4:53:37 PM] vsahgal1: I mean sending multiples of the same item
[8/13/2010 4:53:39 PM] Noel - [SYC] Spideys Dog: 2. Implementing a new philosophy of what is tradeable and what is notCan you expand..... as the game has grown, and expanded, less and less has become giftable. Is that the "philosophy"?
[8/13/2010 4:53:53 PM] Claude Tremblay: So are we to assume that you will have a limit on the number of items being traded and speed of trade in order to keep track of inventory movement and legitemacy of the movement of those items
[8/13/2010 4:54:44 PM] vsahgal1: no, that is not our philosophy - the reason stuff has become ungiftable recently has been to protect our players - they were to stop malicious exploits by cheaters. These are temporary measures while we build a tighter and more secure system
[8/13/2010 4:55:04 PM] Noel - [SYC] Spideys Dog: understood
[8/13/2010 4:55:06 PM] vsahgal1: @Claude - no, we haven't decided on anything like that
[8/13/2010 4:56:00 PM] Claude Tremblay: I know from a logistics stand point that algorithms are currently in place that are able to track loot movements and sending and receivng UID
[8/13/2010 4:57:11 PM] vsahgal1: we have a plan to build more robust tracking into the system so we can track movement of loot - this is only to be able to help us find exploits as soon as they happen
[8/13/2010 4:57:57 PM] Claude Tremblay: Will the new multi-item gifting system be something that will be the end us having to use gifting bookmarklets to assist in our trades
[8/13/2010 4:58:07 PM] chris.zynga: we do currently have tools in place to track the worst exploiters, but we always strive to do better :)
[8/13/2010 4:58:31 PM] Claude Tremblay: Perfectly understood and I applaud the effort
[8/13/2010 4:58:55 PM] chris.zynga: can you explain the bookmarklets
[8/13/2010 4:59:04 PM] chris.zynga: want to make sure we understand how you guys use them
[8/13/2010 4:59:07 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: I would like to ask you a question...I am running a group with first priority to help new beginners..that means I am collecting loot from many to send to them... how will you trace what is legit in those situations and what isn't..
[8/13/2010 4:59:18 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): I think they refer to Chucker
[8/13/2010 4:59:38 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): Aruns Chuck a Crap
[8/13/2010 4:59:40 PM] LanceHayes: bookmarks are just usfull to make the game for fun it takes us a while to go threw 1000s of stam and useing a bookmark makes it e-z to do so
[8/13/2010 4:59:45 PM] chris.zynga: gotcha
[8/13/2010 5:00:11 PM] Shane: or with Arun's Chuck a Crap, sending 10,000s of weapon parts or car parts becomes possible
[8/13/2010 5:00:42 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: i thought that using those for that purpose lance was not allowed
[8/13/2010 5:01:03 PM] Noel - [SYC] Spideys Dog: Brawler?
[8/13/2010 5:01:04 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: but using chucker etc was very helpful to share loot between your clan if u have one that is
[8/13/2010 5:01:16 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: agree sara
[8/13/2010 5:01:16 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: I am in same position as Zin
[8/13/2010 5:01:16 PM] LanceHayes: yes
[8/13/2010 5:01:20 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: coz if u click it takes forever
[8/13/2010 5:01:28 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: and the delay is dreadful
[8/13/2010 5:01:55 PM] Noel - [SYC] Spideys Dog: It think they are separate issues. Gifting is a part of the game. Automated attacking is not
[8/13/2010 5:01:56 PM] Shane: i was gonna talk about Zin, clan loot distributers recieve tons of loot without sending in return and then send tons of loot without receiving in return
[8/13/2010 5:01:57 PM] LanceHayes: you send a item from sones wishlist then wait 3 or 5 sec to do so again takes a while to do so
[8/13/2010 5:02:06 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: i am shipping every week up to 10 new players to clans from my groups thanks to our program for building up new players based on excange a loot from higher levels
[8/13/2010 5:03:12 PM] aaron corbino: They are fully aware of chucker and it's operations. I think we are straying from topic a little bit.
[8/13/2010 5:03:14 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added d.reedy ***
[8/13/2010 5:03:17 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: since I started Bb i send about 150K gifts to people...
[8/13/2010 5:03:23 PM] *** d.reedy has left ***
[8/13/2010 5:03:23 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: my clan uses 1 place to store all our spares and send out in mass so we need chucker or sumthing like that built in to aid us in this
[8/13/2010 5:03:37 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: Nate maybe the room is full
[8/13/2010 5:03:37 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: i collect it from my friends from Tm, and other highlevel clans
[8/13/2010 5:04:43 PM] chris.zynga: this may be difficult to answer, but do you guys have a typical range of #of items you trade at time?
[8/13/2010 5:04:52 PM] Dave McLaren: Chucker at the moment allows us to send loot and play the game at the same time, thereby allowing some players to spend their RP quicker also if they feel the need to do so.
[8/13/2010 5:04:52 PM] april.meade1: its the title of the room i think nothing states this is a Zynga room
[8/13/2010 5:05:04 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added brentfcox ***
[8/13/2010 5:05:08 PM] *** brentfcox has left ***
[8/13/2010 5:05:12 PM] LanceHayes: it depends on what the ratio is
[8/13/2010 5:05:23 PM] Shane: @chris, depends on the items
[8/13/2010 5:05:23 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added brentfcox ***
[8/13/2010 5:05:32 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: clans dont personally trade within themselves they gift for free at mass but traders are different clearly
[8/13/2010 5:05:48 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: right now is still railguns, hunters, muggaties, lotto and new collection
[8/13/2010 5:05:52 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: @chris I can send 2000 in a weekend if that helps
[8/13/2010 5:05:53 PM] Shane: attack and defense loot would reliatically be up to 501 per item at a time if you're doing p2p, but clan transactions would be much higher
[8/13/2010 5:05:56 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: on those sites where I am trading
[8/13/2010 5:06:29 PM] Claude Tremblay: Clan and trading group have different purposes however we have a common alliance in the fact that we do not want the mass loot movment to slow our gameplay or become so tedious of a process that it ruins the game for you
[8/13/2010 5:06:37 PM] Claude Tremblay: Speed is of the essence
[8/13/2010 5:06:40 PM] LanceHayes: me i trade about 20 or so items a day wen i need to up my mafia atack and def
[8/13/2010 5:06:42 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Hey Guys... there's going to be a few more people popping in.
[8/13/2010 5:06:50 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Just fyi.
[8/13/2010 5:06:50 PM] LanceHayes: ok
[8/13/2010 5:06:59 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added jessie_ferrari ***
[8/13/2010 5:07:00 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: yes i agree , it takes for ever to send 100 items to each member if they need them
[8/13/2010 5:07:16 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: i have 300 members for instance lol
[8/13/2010 5:07:26 PM] aaron corbino: gifting speed and wishlist timer have completely put the brakes on my gifting currently
[8/13/2010 5:07:49 PM] aaron corbino: same issues we discussed last week V
[8/13/2010 5:07:54 PM | Edited 5:08:06 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: i had to get two additional people to help me send the loot because of the time it takes
[8/13/2010 5:08:13 PM] brentfcox: Hi Im Brent, I represent "The Official Scammer List" http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=101176029923803
[8/13/2010 5:08:20 PM] aaron corbino: welcome brent
[8/13/2010 5:08:25 PM] brentfcox: thanks
[8/13/2010 5:08:26 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: Hi brent
[8/13/2010 5:08:26 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: i barrely can gift last days because i have to maintain game with all this new things..and I have work and life to live too..now it is full time job to gift properly to low levels
[8/13/2010 5:08:48 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: unless u have a system to aid u which is allowed
[8/13/2010 5:09:04 PM] vsahgal1: " have to maintain game with all this new things"
[8/13/2010 5:09:11 PM] vsahgal1: can you explain?
[8/13/2010 5:09:19 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): It has not been odd for me to send thousands of items a day the limitation is the tools which restricts the sending we all have baby members that put all to attack and defense and have little energy to collect on their own as their focus is wars and fighting
[8/13/2010 5:09:25 PM] jessie_ferrari: Hello all... *Jessie's Mafia War's JunkYard*
[8/13/2010 5:09:35 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": You guys are way off topic...
[8/13/2010 5:09:39 PM] aaron corbino: hey jessie
[8/13/2010 5:09:56 PM] jessie_ferrari: hey r8dman
[8/13/2010 5:09:58 PM] Shane: yes, let's get back on topic please
[8/13/2010 5:09:58 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: weel you present us almost every week something new...I am pritty high level with some numbers of stamina and ebergy to use..have to make sure i am upgraded too...
[8/13/2010 5:09:59 PM] evilempressecho: trading is a huge part of this game
[8/13/2010 5:10:03 PM] LanceHayes: heh, proper response to the BM question
"The proper response - a Bookmarklet is a small javascript that performs a variety of actions within the security of the browser. Usually Firefox and chrome are the browsers of choice. There are a fair number of BM's written for various tasks useful in the Mafia Wars game - usually for features that are fucked using in-game tools or because of poor game design. Which specific actions/BM's are you interested in?"
[8/13/2010 5:10:31 PM] jessie_ferrari: chucker
[8/13/2010 5:10:51 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): LOL@da irish kid
[8/13/2010 5:10:53 PM] aaron corbino: we are way off topic. Zynga is fully aware of the gifting complaints we have. Would like to let them finish up their portion of this discussion
[8/13/2010 5:11:09 PM] LanceHayes: go on
[8/13/2010 5:11:14 PM] jessie_ferrari: i just jumped in to a bunch of stuff please redirect me
[8/13/2010 5:11:21 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Agreed Aaron
[8/13/2010 5:11:23 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Ok... let's bring this back to the trading system discussion... so the ability to multi trade... i.e. chucker, is highly desired?
[8/13/2010 5:11:33 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): YES
[8/13/2010 5:11:36 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: YES
[8/13/2010 5:11:37 PM] Shane: YES
[8/13/2010 5:11:37 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:11:42 PM] jessie_ferrari: with me chucker is highly desired
[8/13/2010 5:11:42 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: yes..that is great tool
[8/13/2010 5:11:43 PM] evilempressecho: (nod)
[8/13/2010 5:11:43 PM] LanceHayes: YES
[8/13/2010 5:11:45 PM] kittyklaws1: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:11:52 PM] Joe Caplan: Agreed
[8/13/2010 5:11:55 PM] Shane: but in numbers greater than 1 at a time
[8/13/2010 5:11:58 PM] chris.zynga: what do you like the most about chucker
[8/13/2010 5:11:58 PM] Tom Flippo: (clap)
[8/13/2010 5:12:08 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: yup in many multiples
[8/13/2010 5:12:09 PM] LanceHayes: it lets us gift more gifts
[8/13/2010 5:12:10 PM] chris.zynga: is it just gifting more than 1 at a time?
[8/13/2010 5:12:12 PM] jessie_ferrari: not clicking 1000 times
[8/13/2010 5:12:20 PM] jessie_ferrari: convenience
[8/13/2010 5:12:26 PM] Claude Tremblay: what do you like the most about chuckerPersonal assistant
[8/13/2010 5:12:27 PM] LanceHayes: u dont have to click a billion times
[8/13/2010 5:12:35 PM] kittyklaws1: and no delay time in gifting
[8/13/2010 5:12:43 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: you put list of items you wish to be sent..and you go play your game while it is going on
[8/13/2010 5:12:47 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): you can set it and go to bed lol
[8/13/2010 5:12:50 PM] Claude Tremblay: We do enough clicking with the game that one more process becomes a pain
[8/13/2010 5:12:50 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: no need to use time on it
[8/13/2010 5:12:53 PM] Shane: not just not having to click though. it loads our entire friend list alphabetically so that you can easily find people
[8/13/2010 5:12:55 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: what do you like the most about chuckerchris may I ask have you checked it out ??
[8/13/2010 5:13:04 PM] Dave McLaren: Chucker at the moment allows us to send loot and play the game at the same time, thereby allowing some players to spend their RP quicker also if they feel the need to do so.
[8/13/2010 5:13:11 PM] Joe Caplan: Still a 3 second delay but it would be nice if that was faster to send gifts with.
[8/13/2010 5:13:19 PM] Claude Tremblay: The game is a Social Game... I like to chat and help etc... so the tedious clicking becomes a serious pain
[8/13/2010 5:13:32 PM] Nate Zyngaman: So multi gifting and sending multiple different types of gifts.
[8/13/2010 5:13:33 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: agree with all above reasons
[8/13/2010 5:13:39 PM] chris.zynga: I have seen chucker, just want to make sure I understand what you find most valuable
[8/13/2010 5:13:58 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Speed
[8/13/2010 5:14:05 PM] evilempressecho: the menu set up is pretty keen
[8/13/2010 5:14:09 PM | Edited 5:14:14 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: for me its time saving, alphabetical, load it up and go
[8/13/2010 5:14:11 PM] Shane: the ultimate chucker would be exactly what it is now, but after you type in how many you want to send and to whom and click send, all go in one shot instead of one at a time
[8/13/2010 5:14:14 PM] Claude Tremblay: Selectable Items
Selectable Targets
Confirmation of loots sent
[8/13/2010 5:14:20 PM] aaron corbino: I believe they are all asking for an ingame version of chucker, which will allow for easier gifting of multiple items with a list of recipients that is easier to find
[8/13/2010 5:14:21 PM | Edited 5:14:33 PM] Tom Flippo: the fact it gives you a starting inventory amount and an ending total is nice also
[8/13/2010 5:14:25 PM] jessie_ferrari: just convenience to not sit on the same persons page all day
[8/13/2010 5:14:26 PM] Nate Zyngaman: What is the most of one item anyone has gifted?
[8/13/2010 5:14:35 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: there is 2 ways of sending gift there... you send multiply gifts ..make list of 30 items at once and just leave it to do job by it self
[8/13/2010 5:14:35 PM | Edited 5:14:43 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): the ability to set and forget and get on with the 500 tasks to maintain your own character and remain competitive
[8/13/2010 5:14:47 PM] aaron corbino: 25k
[8/13/2010 5:14:49 PM] brentfcox: I would like to also see both traders agreeing to the trade, therefore eliminating scams
[8/13/2010 5:14:50 PM] aaron corbino: 50k
[8/13/2010 5:14:51 PM] Shane: What is the most of one item anyone has gifted?i just did 30,000 weapon parts a couple days ago
[8/13/2010 5:14:56 PM] Shane: dunno if that's the most i've done
[8/13/2010 5:15:12 PM] LanceHayes: i have sent over 50,000 car parts last month
[8/13/2010 5:15:21 PM] Claude Tremblay: What is the most of one item anyone has gifted?12107 brass knuckle to a buddy who was in a competition with a friend on who could accumulate the largest collection in the shortest amount of time
[8/13/2010 5:15:22 PM] kittyklaws1: I believe they are all asking for an ingame version of chucker, which will allow for easier gifting of multiple items with a list of recipients that is easier to findYES YES YES
[8/13/2010 5:15:22 PM] jessie_ferrari: yea 1000's of weapons parts car parts consumables etc..'
[8/13/2010 5:15:28 PM] Claude Tremblay: that was one transaction
[8/13/2010 5:15:38 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: as a clan leader most I have sent in one go is 300/400
[8/13/2010 5:15:38 PM] Nate Zyngaman: What would you say is the average lot of a trade?
[8/13/2010 5:15:39 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": My Dads Bigger than your Dad!
[8/13/2010 5:15:47 PM] kittyklaws1: (chuckle)
[8/13/2010 5:15:52 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: even that is impossible with current in built system
[8/13/2010 5:15:53 PM] aaron corbino: scams can be eliminated without the help of Zynga. They have enough on their plate. Proper trading platforms allow for traders to trade peacefully and scam free
[8/13/2010 5:16:09 PM] evilempressecho: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:16:18 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Agreed Aaron
[8/13/2010 5:16:30 PM] jessie_ferrari: (y)no scammers
[8/13/2010 5:16:38 PM] aaron corbino: The right sites prevent alot of this, it's the chaos from some of the un managed sites that have no control over scammers. Lets not drop that in the lap of Zynga
[8/13/2010 5:16:46 PM] *** Nate Zyngaman added topbeancounter ***
[8/13/2010 5:16:51 PM] jessie_ferrari: very true
[8/13/2010 5:17:05 PM] Shane {Håñ§ê}: What would you say is the average lot of a trade?that's a very difficult question top answer Nate. depends on whether you're trading consumables or lotto. weapon/car parts or UHEL
[8/13/2010 5:17:10 PM] Claude Tremblay: My total gifting counter on my account is completely off because for close to 6 months my counter would not go
[8/13/2010 5:17:42 PM] jessie_ferrari: My gifts sent is very high
[8/13/2010 5:18:00 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: mine too...
[8/13/2010 5:18:02 PM] jessie_ferrari: but dont really know what i trade the most theres so much
[8/13/2010 5:18:29 PM] Joe Caplan: Being Admin on LT everyone wants to trade with me to get trade notes... so mine is very high as well/
[8/13/2010 5:18:48 PM] jessie_ferrari: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:18:53 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Lets get back on Track people...
[8/13/2010 5:18:57 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Ok guys... I we have about 10 minutes and I want Chris and V to ask their questions. and make any comments they need.
[8/13/2010 5:19:00 PM | Edited 5:20:09 PM] Claude Tremblay: What would you say is the average lot of a trade? My accumulated "stash" in 1 1/2 years is quite substantial and for a while I had guys that would trade on my behalf (as they were just learning the trade) so in me trading to them I would send them 5-6k loots almost everyday (cuban and moscow)
[8/13/2010 5:19:01 PM] aaron corbino: bring wesley to the party
[8/13/2010 5:19:28 PM] aaron corbino: chris and V, let it rip
[8/13/2010 5:19:32 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): the clan system for most is all members send to a central armory and that gifts to those in need that way its controlled and not over gifted the issue is the time involved in getting it in and then out and without chucker it would be impossible. We spend alot of time on the game unlike traders we also fight wars constantly and want to spend time playing not gifting but in order to play and be effective you need to gift to build strength. The trade arguement is well represented so I figure I will present the other side lol
[8/13/2010 5:19:44 PM] Claude Tremblay: and I had more than one guy
[8/13/2010 5:20:01 PM] LanceHayes: i have a question if i may ask
[8/13/2010 5:20:13 PM] aaron corbino: let chris and V handle business, we are cluttering this up with banter
[8/13/2010 5:20:15 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Shooe lance
[8/13/2010 5:20:21 PM] aaron corbino: we will finish up at the end
[8/13/2010 5:20:23 PM] Nate Zyngaman: shoot
[8/13/2010 5:20:26 PM] LanceHayes: what are the rules about having more then one account
[8/13/2010 5:20:34 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: @peta the armory is ME hence my need for this
[8/13/2010 5:20:38 PM] Nate Zyngaman: It is agains facebook'
[8/13/2010 5:20:41 PM] Nate Zyngaman: s TOS
[8/13/2010 5:20:43 PM] Nate Zyngaman: :)
[8/13/2010 5:20:55 PM] chris.zynga: hey guys, so obviously we have a very rich roadmap and we want to do right by all your use cases
[8/13/2010 5:21:00 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: :)
[8/13/2010 5:21:04 PM] chris.zynga: but we also want to make sure we're constantly progressing towards that goal
[8/13/2010 5:21:05 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): I am ours too Mich (giggle)most leaders are
[8/13/2010 5:21:16 PM] chris.zynga: vs. having to make you guys just wait for an awesome release to happen at some magical time in the future
[8/13/2010 5:21:53 PM] chris.zynga: do you have suggestions for very simple things that are nagging at you, that we could maybe fix sooner to make your lives easier?
[8/13/2010 5:22:03 PM] Shane {Håñ§ê}: energy boosts
[8/13/2010 5:22:09 PM] Shane {Håñ§ê}: for the love of god. :)
[8/13/2010 5:22:11 PM] LanceHayes: dose it have to do with the tradeing ?
[8/13/2010 5:22:32 PM] brentfcox: Def energy boost, 3 second delay,
[8/13/2010 5:22:34 PM] LanceHayes: i would say make it so that the items on our profiels once u click on them they pop up in a little window
[8/13/2010 5:22:49 PM] ZINAJDA * CONDOR [BB-DK]: and more items to be able to gift... we accumulatin so many things that is impossible to get view over loot we don't use...and some lower levels will be happy to have it
[8/13/2010 5:22:55 PM] evilempressecho: a choice between stamia boost's or energy boosts
[8/13/2010 5:22:55 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): fix the gifting speed the old days of gift all even though you had to click was still faster than chucker itself...the speed made it worth taking the time
[8/13/2010 5:23:02 PM] jessie_ferrari: what would be easy for you guys to fix?
[8/13/2010 5:23:14 PM] jessie_ferrari: that youve heard us talk about?
[8/13/2010 5:23:25 PM] vsahgal1: @Peter - so you're talking about the timer?
[8/13/2010 5:23:34 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): yes that is the first issue
[8/13/2010 5:23:35 PM] aaron corbino: giftall
[8/13/2010 5:23:50 PM] aaron corbino: thats where the majority of the pain is coming from V
[8/13/2010 5:24:17 PM] vsahgal1: will it make a difference if we give you multi-gifting?
[8/13/2010 5:24:17 PM] Claude Tremblay: What would work for us:
- In game solid platform
- Selectable loots
- Speed friendly
- Selecteable target
- Confirmation sent
- multi-item selectable [1], [5], [10], [25], [50], [100] etc..
[8/13/2010 5:24:20 PM] aaron corbino: Most of us understand why it happened, but I feel that it hasnt been passed on to all
[8/13/2010 5:24:53 PM] aaron corbino: Mutli gifting similar, heck, way better than chucker would be "PARTY TIME"
[8/13/2010 5:25:08 PM] Dave McLaren: will it make a difference if we give you multi-gifting?
[8/13/2010 5:25:09 PM] Sara Carrington Triad 10: yes totally
[8/13/2010 5:25:12 PM] Claude Tremblay: I trade between patients at work, I trade between managing my board's needs
[8/13/2010 5:25:17 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): Multi gifting would be ideal but also inventory based structure like item analysier YOU have XXXX this you do not use XXXX this and can gift it
[8/13/2010 5:25:25 PM] Dave McLaren: Multi-gifting would surely save a load on your servers
[8/13/2010 5:25:25 PM] Claude Tremblay: I trade at home while playing with the kids
[8/13/2010 5:25:30 PM] Joe Caplan: Also bringing back energy boosts would be great.
[8/13/2010 5:25:38 PM] Claude Tremblay: If it is clickity click..... hmmmmm
[8/13/2010 5:26:00 PM] Claude Tremblay: so it would be nice to have a process that can be somewhat user friendly automated etc...
[8/13/2010 5:26:24 PM] aaron corbino: and no timer on giftall. we have bypassed that
[8/13/2010 5:26:29 PM] vsahgal1: @Peta - very cool
[8/13/2010 5:26:34 PM] vsahgal1: we will look into that
[8/13/2010 5:26:49 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): thanks V (y)
[8/13/2010 5:26:54 PM] Claude Tremblay: Can't create a back log of clickity clicks if you can't do clickity click ;)
[8/13/2010 5:26:56 PM] vsahgal1: ok let's hang for a minute
[8/13/2010 5:27:20 PM] vsahgal1: so as discussed there are plenty of small measures we can take to make your experience a whole lot better
[8/13/2010 5:27:44 PM] jessie_ferrari: absolutely
[8/13/2010 5:27:52 PM] vsahgal1: like the stuff we discussed (multi-item gifting, tradeable item philosophy, better selector) etc.
[8/13/2010 5:27:54 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Nice Peta Taking Credit for Bloefeild's Gifter...LMAO!
[8/13/2010 5:27:58 PM] vsahgal1: and that is our plan
[8/13/2010 5:28:05 PM] vsahgal1: to do these minor things to help you first
[8/13/2010 5:28:12 PM] LanceHayes: i have ppl in the other chat saying that it seems like this is jsut posteed on the traders and not on just reg players
[8/13/2010 5:28:18 PM] vsahgal1: before we flirt with the bigger and more complex changes
[8/13/2010 5:28:23 PM] [HLK] GM Michaela {13}: (nod)
[8/13/2010 5:28:25 PM] vsahgal1: like implementing a in-game trading system
[8/13/2010 5:28:26 PM] Rick (GF) - [SIN]Jackalope Hun†╬Σ╬r: uestion: Is this a reason why Zynga wouldn't want to replicate a "chucker" and an "Analyzer" functionality?
[8/13/2010 5:28:28 PM] Peta GM [AMΞX] ẄIZ₳ЯD ӨF ӨZ (15): not at all Ed just stating what about the tools we like and would want to see incorporated
[8/13/2010 5:28:43 PM] aaron corbino: exactly, fighters and daily users are being left out
[8/13/2010 5:28:45 PM] LanceHayes: yea, someone i talked to feels that this chat does not represent the real players, and is more orientated to the clans/traders
even Arun is not gonna be happy when he sees this fucking bs
[8/13/2010 5:28:58 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": ...Dont fix it if it isnt broke....
[8/13/2010 5:29:14 PM] LanceHayes: i fill the same as my wiki friend dose
[8/13/2010 5:29:23 PM] LanceHayes: nate can u add da irish kid in here?
[8/13/2010 5:29:43 PM] vsahgal1: we don't have much time
[8/13/2010 5:29:45 PM] Nate Zyngaman: We have one minute... :)
[8/13/2010 5:29:45 PM] vsahgal1: actually 1 minute
[8/13/2010 5:29:48 PM] Evil Ed "The Evil Ed Podcast": Ill add Jermey
[8/13/2010 5:30:06 PM] LanceHayes: ok
[8/13/2010 5:30:09 PM] vsahgal1: so just wanted to say that this is our plan - we have taken notes on a lot of the cool stuff you guys have suggested
[8/13/2010 5:30:38 PM] Nate Zyngaman: What we are going to do is take these notes and post them to the forums. Everyone will be allowed to contribute and discuss there.
[8/13/2010 5:30:49 PM] vsahgal1: while we are working on the minor changes (that have big effects) we are going to think and talk about a trading system
[8/13/2010 5:30:53 PM] vsahgal1: yes
[8/13/2010 5:30:58 PM] vsahgal1: let's do that Nate
[8/13/2010 5:31:02 PM] Shane {Håñ§ê}: sounds good
[8/13/2010 5:31:05 PM] Claude Tremblay: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:31:10 PM] jessie_ferrari: (y)
[8/13/2010 5:31:16 PM] Dave McLaren: At the moment will you endorse the use of chucker?
[8/13/2010 5:31:16 PM] Nate Zyngaman: I greatly apologize that we couldn't include everyone. As you can see this chat was pretty active and full as it is :).
[8/13/2010 5:31:16 PM] LanceHayes: sounds good
[8/13/2010 5:31:26 PM] Rick (GF) - [SIN]Jackalope Hun†╬Σ╬r: Great. It put things in the right direction.
[8/13/2010 5:32:20 PM] vsahgal1: thanks guys!
[8/13/2010 5:32:24 PM] jessie_ferrari: Thx for including me, this will hopefully make alot of people happy to see you guys will try and listen
[8/13/2010 5:32:26 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Great! I want to thank everyone who came.
[8/13/2010 5:32:26 PM] vsahgal1: great talking to you as always :)

  1. Such a waste of an opportunity IMHO. Hope we get another chance and there are sane people to represent us the next time!!!

  2. Evil Ed should be our spokesperson, too many chiefs, not enough indians in there. Message became off topic and wondered around. Z got off easy on this.

    Wow... That was obvious :(

Zinga has been stealing ideas from bookmarklets for sometime now (Power Attack anyone?)

  4. The whole talk seems to based on Trade and Clan. Its true what someone else also mentioned in there.

  5. I think the fighters got left out completely, and they need to have a turn. I like all the idea's and am happy to see that Zynga seemingly is willing to listen to the ppl that pay their bills. Us the players. I think the tools that have been made to work with the game are the best things MW has going for it. Being that it really is a lot more social then they could ever really expect. I really hope they are willing to listen more, and allow us to use the tools that make the game worth the time it takes to click it. lol
