More on Script Rumors

Share:

While reading The Daily Post for 6/7/2010 , I was thrilled to find an excellent article written by Joe Szweda, Technical Editor of The Daily Post explaining the latest rumors regarding script use.  I'd like to thank Joe for this well written and easy to follow article that helped me understand the statistical probabilities of such actions from actually occurring.  To read this article in it's entirety, click HERE.

I asked The Arch-Angel Nemesis what his views on these rumors were.  He equated them to The Telephone Game we all played in school.  The final story never did match the original one.

"I do believe it is a bunch of  built up hype...Arun has a little issue with his script and it doesn't work for an hour... people all of a sudden think there is a problem and Zyngas out to get people who use scripts...I highly doubt Zynga is disabling accounts and Blocking IP addresses.  In my opinion, it is all rumors.  If they were to block an IP address, it would effect ALL players in the household from Teenager Steve playing Mafia Wars while using the Repeat Job script, all the way to Grandma Edith taking care of her cows and growing
vegetables on Farmville while using no script at all"./Arch-Angel Nemesis

On a side note, The Nemesis bookmarklets are working if you have already bookmarked them.  The site is down because it is relocating to a new one.  This has nothing to do with Zynga and involves computer issues.  Nemesis is working on new tools for us and will announce on his Fan Page when they will be back up.
