About 10 days ago players received a popup announcing a new destination was coming soon
[1]. The game doesn't work but that's not going to stop Zynga from releasing this new destination! Years ago new destinations were an exciting thing but with all the issues and too many events I don't think many are looking forward to what Zynga has in store. Los Angeles by far has been the worst destination ever put in the game and I can only imagine what horrors are await. Like the last 4 destinations, there is a copy/paste pre-release event. If you forgot what to do for these events, review the pre-release event walkthroughs for
London,
South Africa,
Mexico and
Los Angeles. Nothing is different...collect loot and consumables to get a mastery item and new image. The new destination will most likely be here by the holidays. Please share your guesses of where it's going to be. One clue we have seen in the previous events is the name of the first loot reward is a hint for the currency that will be used but Honor Kill doesn't sound like any modern day currency. Maybe this destination will be an ancient or futuristic location. More details and the rewards are shown below.
To access the event, use the popup above or the travel bar and click New Location. It shouldn’t be a surprise that once you open this thing up it often gets stuck and you have to refresh to get back.
You will find the “Ask” and “Invite” buttons as well as trackers for the items we need to collect. Where to get them is also listed. With the news feed and ZMC issues this one won't be as easy as the last 4!
The “Ask” button will generate requests for Honor Kills. You can ask once every 8 hours and each request will yield 10 items. You can also earn 20 by clicking on the feeds of others but can only acquire 40 per day. With the scanning scripts all broken at the moment, it may be hard to get this done.
With the news feed issues, collecting 20 Honor Kills may prove difficult. If you don't get a white screen you will get a lot of duds as the requests expire and they are limited. Eventually you should be able to find working requests.
The 'Invite' button will take you to the Crew-Miums Send page. You will also find these on the Free Gift Page. Use the Gift Blaster or click on the 'Invite' button from the game. Accept them in the ZMC.
The important thing to note about these items is that accepting them doesn’t mean you get them. You only get when others accept your gift so you have to send them. Each Crew-Miums that you accept will either add 1 to your friends tally or it will be a waste of time if they have already earned 30 for the day.
Both Honor Kills and Crew-Miums also drop from Jobs and Fights. They drop from both stamina and energy jobs.
Collecting Honor Kills and Crew-Miums are the only thing required for this event. The rewards are currency for the new destination and a mastery item. The rewards won’t be added to your account until the new destination opens.
You can get up to 80 Honor Kills a day as listed in the chart below.

Mastery Items
As you progress through the levels of mastery, the image will change until it eventually becomes the background image used for the new destination. They unlock once you master the bronze, silver, gold and ruby levels this event.

ReplyDeleteMy guess is Japan... there are several Kanjis showing on both items we are collecting. And honor kill could be in reference to harakiri:

Part of the samurai bushido honor code, seppuku was used either voluntarily by samurai to die with honor rather than fall into the hands of their enemies.
That would be my best guess...
A keen eyed observer I know suggested that the bottle hints of something to do with the Yakuzas. If so, maybe the new destination will be Japan?
