Fight Update: Timer Reduced from 5 to 3 Seconds

Share:

The attack timer for fights has been reduced. Instead of watching the bar go down for 5 seconds, you will only need to watch it for 3 seconds. Thanks to Vicky Smith for posting this information on our fan page.

  3. Unless demon time stamps are off, I'm getting (in second lapses) 3, 4, 4, 7, 4, 4, 7 or roughly thereabouts. It looks as though they're just modifying it a bit, but the end result is the same: the lapses are too long! 7 seconds is far too long a lapse between attacks. Even 3 seconds is too long a lapse, especially when they have done nothing to modify the heal timer. There was nothing wrong with fighting the way it was. They should scale back on the other clicky events, and get rid of the heavy clicky Siege component.

  4. I hate it. I used to win most fights. Now the only way to score any ices or kills is in the arena. In a regular fight every time my opponent is almost dead the are magically back to full heath!

  5. The time delay is NOT 3 seconds, not even close. I no longer fight as long as they have this crap up. Not worth my time. I don't care what challenges I have to do, I simply don't deal with this.

  6. With the healing timer increased from 15 seconds to 20 seconds AND the attack timer reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds some of the low health people I had on my rivals tabs for easy ices for missions might actually be iceable once again now.

They where possible just about at first but then they reduced the amount of stamina that is used at a time in one of the previous updated to fight carnage and it went from very difficult to impossible to get any ices via the fight list any more. Hoping this will rectify things once again for low stamina accounts that focus more on energy than anything else.

  7. There's been a change to Victory Coins too. Was getting only a handful from a full day of fighting, now earning them at a more normal rate.

  8. Playing around with Demon , BF and manually clicking, I get between 10 to 14 attacks a minute if doing one attack at a time and it still seems to take 5 seconds for repeated attacks on the same target.

  9. Tried to retaliate someone I could easily ice before this bullsh*t carnage started, and it was futile. Here's how it went: 96% remaining, 83% remaining, 74% remaining, 97% remaining, 88% remaining, 73% remaining, 64% remaining, 96% remaining, 88% remaining, and so on. The lowest I got was 63% remaining before it healed again. Please, can anyone tell me why anyone would spend money on this? This is not what I signed up for, so if they want to see any more money from me, and from any other semi-serious fighter, they will put it back to the way it was.

If they want to shut the game down, then they should do it now, because the timing is perfect.

    1. Yup, this is what the new system has done to some of us. It has made our attacks slow and futile by assigning us an amount of stamina per attack. Then the opponent has lots of time to heal. So many friends are tired of all the crap and quitting.
Boring as heck and yes just shut the game down, PLEASE spare us this painful death.

    2. Unless my counting is off, today they have switched it back to 5 or more seconds between attacks again. Zynga takes us all for stupid I think. I also think the joke will ultimately be on them. Wait and see!

    3. All these people who have been striking and even when playing not fighting, and all those additional people who are only in arena, and all the people who have quit the game, yet still all these loading issues. Good job, Zynga.

    4. Yes, today fighting is very slow. I can only get one attack per 6 seconds. If Zynga makes the little counter go up faster for our amusement it doesn't necessarily mean we can attack any faster (that lil 'server is having lunch now' delay).
Zynga does think we are stupid. :)

    5. I think Fight Carnage has been the nudge many players who have been fed up with zynga bs for years have needed, to make a decision to leave the game for good, and perhaps this is actually a blessing in disguise to make people realise that they can do without the game. With the week-long strike that is scheduled to start in a few hours, it will give players an opportunity to reflect on just how ridiculous it is to allow a game to eat up so much of their time, take so much of their money, and get nothing in return. At least fighting was enjoyable and kept things interesting, but being able to enjoy real time fighting is no longer an option.

A lot of people decided after the first strike for one day that they actually enjoyed their time away, and made a permanent decision to not return no matter what happened, and many others have not returned to the game since the last strike, have not officially quit, but are not bothered by not playing. Many others have quit VIP and likely will not sign up again no matter what happens. The game can't last much longer than a couple of months with so many people unhappy with the game due to carnage. Zynga will have no one to blame but themselves. I will NEVER spend money or even play another game that carries the zynga name OR who has Marc Pincus involved in any way shape or form.
