Fighting Happy Hours

Share:

Zynga is offering Fighting Happy Hours for a limited time. We will get a experience to stamina ratio of 2.2 regardless of the outcome of the fight. This will help to let us focus on Fight Carnage to see if we like it or not. With the previous ratios, fighting became something to avoid as it would affect leveling.

  1. Lol... so, Zynga implemented this new feature to slow down the serial-leveling cheaters in the game... awesome... Zynga 1 - 0 Cheaters.

But then Zynga releases the Happy Hours (and they used the word 'hours' as this could be anywhere from 2 hours to a 1000 hours, lol) to make the many whining script users happy, haha... so what is the point of this new feature? They implement it to stop the cheaters...and then add Happy Hours with better ratios to help the cheaters?? I guess all the whining in here helped... Zynga is afraid you guys will stop fighting, haha... just another prime example of Zynga's spineless, sucking-up-to-Demon-users attitude... Zynga 1 - 3 Cheaters.... but WHY implement something to stop something else...then add another thing so that the thing they were trying to stop in the first place won't be stopped... why not remove this feature instead? haha... LONG LIVE THE STUPID AND IGNORANT ZYNGA!!

    1. It's a little late in the day for zynga to try and stop the 'cheaters.' The game is in its death throes, so why don't they leave it the hell alone and let players enjoy fighting until the game closes? Zynga's acting like a bad lover who, instead of trying to break things off (aka close the game), they're doing everything in their power to make people quit (aka break up with them), to avoid much nastier fallout (aka big spending players taking action against them for continuing to take their money when they're planning on closing the game). Those who spend big money on the game are going to continue to play, no matter what is thrown at them, so zynga is wasting its time trying to get them to quit. They should just do the right thing and announce a year long sunset, to give people a heads up, so they can stop tossing money at the game, but still enjoy fighting for a few more months.

    2. Well put indeed... and I am certain most reasonable people feel this way. However, as you pointed out - the paying players WILL continue to pay and play NO MATTER what Zynga throws at them/us - and it weighs against them/us that Zynga indeed knows this fact. And as long as people keep paying... Zynga will keep taking - anything else would be even more stupid on their side. If you serve people crap all the time... and people complain but STILL eat the crap no matter what... why would you listen to their complaints? That's how Zynga operates... they don't care about anything anymore, because they KNOW they have us by our addictive balls :P

  3. They should have added some loot worth fighting for - this is ridiculous.

  4. Those new fighting rules are really scrap for players. the XP/stamina ratio was so low initially (~2.1 when winning, 1.0 when loosing) that they had to introduce a quick fix : happy hours with a flat ration of 2.20 (loss or win). happy hours are gone, and I see the XP/stamina ratio was kept at 2.20. better than 2.1, but still far from what it used to be (2.30). so I guess many auto levelers can't auto level any more, especially not when farming consummables in LA.
Since Zynga has close all his data centers in May and is now subcontracting to Amazon, I guess the whole point is to lower the player demand on servers and therefore save money : less auto leveling (=less demand), less clicks because of the higher stam/click (=less demand), delay of 5 seconds between clicks (=less demand).

  5. Everyone knows that if this becomes permanent, you can kiss 'Happy Hours' goodbye and then everyone is screwed. When was the last time they had Happy Hours in arena? Months? This is the way it will be with fighting too, as soon as this is made permanent and the honeymoon is over.

  6. Unhappy hours. Ratio much lower and far fewer ices/1000 stamina. Usually get 4 ices/1K stamina and now 1.5-2. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
