Mozilla Firefox has blocked all versions of Flash [1]. There is nothing you can do about it until they unblock it. Zynga posted some advice to work around the issue on their Customer Support but it was removed so I guess it doesn't work. I would think using another browser would be a good workaround but Chrome and Mafia Wars haven't been that great either. There isn't much Flash in Mafia Wars but certain pages won't work (ie, the City Property Pages). Go here to read more about this issue.

I can run Chrome
ReplyDeleteAdobe Flash will update in Chrome and Chromium based browsers but they have to be up to date. Once you have them up to date, scroll to the top of this page and use the first link to update flash. Not sure if this will work on Fire Fox as I have not tried it. https://forums.comodo.com/bug-reports-cd/comodo-dragon-says-adobe-flash-player-is-out-of-date-t111452.0.html;msg812008#msg812008
ReplyDeleteSorry, forgot to add that this worked on both Comodo Dragon and SRWare Iron.
ReplyDeleteI've had that problem for a few days now. I uploaded a new one a few hours ago and so far, so good.
ReplyDeleteI use Chrome and Firefox, not having a problem on either.....have used Comodo Dragon and that don't work now
ReplyDeletewhy would they do that? do they have no idea how many people play these games?
ReplyDeleteidots
I run Chrome exclusively and never have had any problem because of Chrome.
ReplyDeleteIt's worked for me this morning and it's working for me now as well...
Chrome is just fine -- it's MW that's the problem. I can barely run MW on slow-ass Firefox!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, what's this all about then? http://prntscr.com/7svedz
Was Flash updated already to a patched version, if Zynga is telling us to get the latest version?
[And not to mention: Zynga, c'mon now, it's a very short/easy piece of code to check which browser people are using. I didn't have to see this notice in Chrome! Sheesh.]
i use FF v39 and updated flash yesterday....everything seems to be running just fine
