It appears there is going to be a 7 Year Anniversary Event for Mafia Wars. The problem is deciding when the real anniversary is. The 3 Year Anniversary Event was in October of 2011 [1]. The 5 Year Anniversary was in August of 2013 [1]. It's June and since the loot items were added now, I guess the 7 Year Anniversary is soon. Zynga needs to pick a date and stick with it. The 7 loot items take us back to earlier destinations (and the 1st Crates) and give a small description. There are image bugs so 4 of the 7 items have the same random image. Hopefully Zynga will fix that. There is time if they stick to one of the previous anniversary dates. The 7 items along with the older versions are shown below. If anything, this event will remind us all why it's a terrible idea to purchase or jump through hoops to acquire loot items of any type!

This has me wondering with the exception of the piano wire which was of course in the godfather crates (the godfather being something to do with the NY mafia as well anyway) they are all but the NY .22 pistol from closed down destinations. Cuba, Moscow, Bangkok, Vegas and Italy. I wonder if it's a clue that NY is the next destination to close down or something.
