As mentioned in the Urban Assault Los Angeles Walkthrough, the wording on the tasks involving mastery of either jobs or Assets is confusing. They state ‘to the silver’ and ‘to the gold level’ which if taken at face value would mean that you have to master the bronze or silver levels to get ‘to’ the silver and gold levels. What they really mean is you have to get through the silver and gold levels. There are 4 tasks of this type and the chart below defines what needs to be mastered in order to get credit for them.

There are 3 additional task involving Assets but they don’t require mastery and can be worked on at the same time. You may get mastery by doing them but the level doesn’t matter. If a player has already mastered the Assets than these tasks require you to generate instead of raid. It’s all the same thing except there is no mastery involved with generating (only crappy rewards).
Thanks again - this answers a pervious comment question I asked!
