I don’t normally post about new Marketplace loot because there is very little interest in it but once an a while an item will grab my attention. The latest Limited Edition item is called the Bovinator and based on the name it’s purpose is most likely to kill cows. Many cows are slaughtered all over the world to keep steak houses, burger joints and Gucci outlets in business but I don’t think they are hunted in modernized societies. The cow is a spiritual and protected animal in the Hindu religion. What strikes me as odd about this item is that Hinduism is the dominate religion in India and that is where our beloved Mafia Wars Team resides [1]. Sometimes you have to wonder what they are thinking?!

DeleteSince it's my blog I can bring anything I want. Just because you feel the game has no place for these items doesn't mean that others can't express the facts. I don't think the post was about religion per say, it was simply pointing out a fact about how cows are viewed in a certain religion. Because of that I thought this item was odd considering the location of it's creators.

DeleteHindus don’t worship cows. We respect, honour and adore the cow. By honouring this gentle animal, who gives more than she takes, we honour all creatures.
