Earlier we posted about a upcoming change in leadership for some families [1]. Players who were selected, by Zynga, to be the new Godfather or Godmother received the popup below and now own the family. This has been a dream come true for families who were being held hostage by players who quit the game but weren’t decent enough to pass on their family. Other families have had issues where their Godfather or Godmother lost their Facebook account. Zynga has helped some families in the past but the inquires keep rolling in. With so many players quitting this wasn’t an uncommon issue to have. Because of the super slow process of Family Progression, starting a new family isn’t the best option. Some may whine that they lost a family in which they spent 50 reward points to acquire but 1 year of inactivity is a fair variable. This update benefits many more players than it harms.
