For various reasons, many have been dropping out of the VIP Membership Program. Those who do will find a red alert banner giving them 20 days to change their mind. If Zynga wants to keep their subscribers, the last thing they should do is remind cancelling members what they will be missing out on. Most players have equipment stats well over 500,000 and letting them know they will lose +7,000 of these isn’t very alarming. The +225 attack and defense skill points are even more of a drop in the bucket. Thomas Chou is a well known Non Player Character who has hosted many Missions, is a Mini Boss and the face of the VIP Membership Program. He has 3 known poses and the middle one would have been much more appropriate for this banner. We all are pondering the same thing!
So your saying that if I cancel my membership now, then wait for this banner to pop up and renew, that I will get 225 att and 225 def if i renew it again? Im assuming the +7000's for mafia strength is from the vip loot right?
ReplyDeleteNo, that is what you will lose. The +7000 on equipment and +225 on skills are temporary bonuses that will go away when you are no longer a subscriber. Any loot you earn from the program you get to keep if you cancel. These bonuses you don't.
DeleteIt was expected that many VIP were going to cancel. Most waited for the 18th month bonus Harbinger of destruction. 50 rps per week 2 special loot items and 6 skill points are very good , come cheaper than buying those rps with the 40% discount very often appears, also the 5 day extent for properties and 3 days or less for missions to be available earlier are good, but most loot items drop from events are obsolete for vip very rarely those items have a couple of points more. Operations for example all items except the superior which in best case may has about 5 skill more for vips also family boss fights too. Zynga should find something more to keep vip, example new global properties can upgraded one level more and top item should give +6skill and +1skill in a different stat. i.e. 6 attack 1 energy. Since most if not all vip manage to have many global properties at level 15 which give top item plus 6 skills they can build 5 every 18 hours of those 1 skill more that players who can not reach level 15 it is a bonus but since many non vip can reach (which is the fair thing of course game is not only for vip) and top item will be obsolete after a couple of months so about 60 to build not much of a benefit for anyone vip or not. My point is that since all players now are high on level -do not count minis, kami- and are really strong its hard for vip to compete and since they pay every month they would like to have a bit more.

ReplyDeleteWhy spend money for maybe a+2 item over non payers that is obsolete the following month. Its just not worth it.
ReplyDeleteI would only renew if they gave me atom bombs worth 500/500 with 10k/10k added on my bonus and 500/500 on my skills and started me at platinum level for loot.
