For reasons unknown, Zynga feels a timer on a timed and competitive event isn’t necessary. When players complete individual Arena Mastery Events, the banner is replaced with one that doesn’t have a timer. If you aren’t competing with those around you on the leaderboard then you probably don’t notice or care. It would be logical to keep the original banner for the duration of the event. If you desire to keep track of the current Arena Mastery Event, a countdown timer is provided below.
