60% Game Card Redemption Bonus

Share:

If you purchase reward points from the Marketplace, they will be 50% off today and most likely tomorrow. If you redeem a Game Card, you will get 60% off. This may be Zynga’s way to apologize for the unannounced nerf of their own Game Cards a few weeks ago. If you spend $10 in the Marketplace, you will get 85 reward points but with a $10 Game Card you will get 106. Before the nerf, a $10 Game Card would get you 120 so this still isn’t what it used to be and I'm not going to buy any more reward points until it is. If I need them, I can just make them with a kami.  Thanks to Sandy Mager for the screen shot.

    1. To buy a game card go to https://company.zynga.com/game-cards/buy-ecards you can buy them for yourself or for somebody else and it is sent via email with a pin. There is another post regarding this on this blog but that is the link. You redeem the card in the marketplace after you purchase it from the above link with the pin that is emailed to you.

  3. I have no intentions on purchasing game cards again unless they fix the reward point ratio back to what it was before the nerf. I don't have a Kami per se but I am tired of Zynga asking me for money every time I click into the game. I have not done so yet because I love the fighting aspect of the game, but I am seriously considering cancelling my VIP subscription because even money isn't talking with them anymore. Yes, they need to make money, but they are being greedy. I will save my money for real life, tangible, entertainment for my family and myself if this is how they are choosing to treat us. I simply can't buy a game card and redeem it now without feeling ripped off, so the decision is just not to buy one unless they fix it. I'd rather lose a fight in the game than get swindled by Zynga.

    1. kami is a secondary account, that is built to level your main account with. you put everything into stamina/energy, get some health, and woila, you attack yourself, and thus level. by leveing you gain skills and rps. once on that path, you can never again play without one, but if everyone is doing it, why not? :)

  8. Kami accounts are secondary accounts that the main account uses to level themselves. Could need anything from a little boost to level to run it hitting the main account the entire time the main is playing. Unfortunately Z has messed up the passive experience players get from the fight list along with the kami passive experience.

  10. I ran out and bought two $25.00 game cards but did NOT get any bonus. I received 108 reward points for each $25.00 game card. I emailed support, but I doubt the issue will be resolved.

A "kami" account is a kamikaze account, so called because you use it to attack (and lose to) your main account, thus giving you "passive experience" on your main account and leveling up more, thus having more skill points. I don't have one. You can buy one, I'm told. Or you can build one from scratch. However, it's against Zynga's TOS to have more than one account.

    1. Ha ha ha ha ha, so after 18 hours rather than the 8 hour response time cited, "Joshua" replied to my email and told me that I would need to tell HIM the "exact amount" of rp's that I didn't receive!

  12. Wow Thanks Jen..never would have thought to do this. Bought $15 worth of Zynga cards online, redeemed them instantly and got 190 reward points [60% off, with added bonus reward points]...plus they also threw in temporary boosts in my skills!! Much better than if I had purchased via MW page and received a measly 127 reward points for my $15 at 50% off! Much appreciated..you ROCK woman!
