One thing you can count on in Mafia Wars is loading issues. These usually occur when things change. After the Arena Power Card “Ask” button was moved, many could not access the game. Things seem to be back to normal but I can’t speak for all accounts. Customer Support addressed this issue here.

Okay. Looks like it's causing half page loads in FireFox, and completely locking up Flash in Chrome.
So should I wait before loading it to the servers?
Nah, it's getting close to quitting time. Let the late night team fix it.
Good idea. Will give the players something new to bitch to CS about for a change instead of whining about other things in the game that haven't worked right forever.

DeleteFor me, it wasn't an issue of loading, it was an issue of extremely slow play. I couldn't get Assassinator or Battlefield to work correctly, both ran extremely slow. so, I manually fought and that really sucked because you need to click 50 times before it responds, then it only drains the opponents health a little and stops, then drops a little more, stops, then the ice was either stolen or it said too late, player got iced, or the opponent healed. Still doing it today, so, they haven't done anything in over 24 hours to fix it. I'm at level 4700, and when i reach level 5000, I'm quitting the game, it sucks too much now. It's bad when the game runs so slow that it even slows down the scripts. Much of it has to do with this idiotic family icing event that the same three families always get the top three spots. Zynga hasn't learned a thing. Cheaters prosper in this game.
