Zynga has done something cool for players working on their Highly Respected achievements. From now until tomorrow at 4am PST,nobody will lose Respect while fighting in the Arena. Instead of just 1 hour like we got last time, it’s is going to last a while. The Arena should always be this way and I’ve already noticed more players are participating. I wish I had known they were going to do this before I spent a crap load on Power Ups to get my achievements! Good luck to those working on their achievements.
I have to admit, as someone who is boycotting the Arena, I'm very tempted...

ReplyDeleteTo get to 2402 from 2236 I had to fight in 205 Arenas with 150 wins (+330 respect), 13 0's, and 42 negative ones (-164 respect of which at least 60-70 points were lost by various malfunctions), for a net of +166 respect.
Those -164 points took weeks and a lot of power ups to make up !!!!!!

ReplyDeleteBig deal, end results are the higher rated players just get higher and the lower ones go nowhere unless they use huge amounts of powerups to maybe finish 2nd or 3rd. The only upside is you dont lose respect. In fact it is harder than ever to gain respect since the big guns know it is like shooting fish in a barrel.
ReplyDeleteIt's just making it harder to burn off stamina as I haven't been able to get a score above 1000 in any arena once I hit 1400.
ReplyDeleteMight as well try my hand in the 500 areas for a while.
I am seeing something that I think is really thoughtful. Big Respect players joining 100 Stamina arenas & NOT ATTACKING! It doesn't hardly hurt them - maybe 10 Stam Loss after joining - But really helps lower players to achieve their Respect achievements.
