CityVille2 Cross Game Promotion

The Mafia Wars/CityVille Cross Game Promotion has arrived. It appears to be rolling out slowly so don’t freak out if you don’t see it yet. The good news is we only need to get to Level 10 to fully master the promotion. It shouldn't take much time or effort to get this done. It is not known what the promotion end date is but a good rule of thumb is 14 days. The last promotion with FarmVille2 lasted a bit longer. Tips, tricks, cheats and guides are posted below.

The goals of this cross promotion are to get to Level 4, 6, 8 and 10.



The loot item for reaching the milestone levels is a Lady Cop.

When you hit one of these levels, go back to Mafia Wars to get your loot. Zynga must have lowered the required level as many are getting notice for reaching higher levels. It may be that or if you got a head start and reached a level higher than 10 your popup will reflect that. I got to level 30 and my popup says level 20.

The good news is we get to keep each item so you will gain 4 Lady Cops if your fully master the promotion.

Players have 2 options to get through this cross promotion. You can play as intended by Zynga and use some of the tips listed below or you can cheat through it. I recommend the former but the latter is more fun. Getting to Level 10 may be easier than figuring out the cheat which can be found here.

Zynga put together a butt load of guides to help you become familiar with the game. Chances are if there is a need for more than 10 guides just to learn a game, chances are it may not be much fun.

CityVille2 Social Support

Many players aren’t able to get this game to load. It seems to be a big complaint on the support site. At this time I don’t know of any work arounds, Perhaps if Zynga adds CityVille2 to zynga.com these players can play the game. The anthropomorphic rat screen is cute and all but players who are unable to play the game and get this on every load probably don’t appreciate it.

If you want to unframe CityVille2 for easier playing. Make a bookmarklet from the code below. This will work on any game and things are easier to see.

As you play, you will need to constantly beg for things and invite neighbors to help you. The best thing to do is get plenty of neighbors right away so you can visit them to get experience and they can help you get supplies.


Zynga will offer you the option to load the game faster by storing data files on your own computer. I declined this offer as I don’t want this crap on my computer. You will be hounded by it every now and then. If you try to close it out, you get another popup and must tell them that “Slower is fine”.

To see how much experience you need to get to the next level, hover your mouse over the experience bar. The experience requirements to get to each level are no where as steep as they were for FarmVille2.

All you need to do to gain experience is click on any and everything, do the quests located in the far left column of the game and visit neighbors. You don’t get a ton of experience for these tasks, but they do add up. If you choose to use the cheat, you still need to play the game. You just won’t have to wait for people to send you stuff and will get there more quickly.
When you are finished with CityVille2, go to the application center via the link below and click on one of the X's next to any request to block the game. Once blocked, you won't see anymore requests or notifications from others still playing this dreadful game.
