Because there are issues with the Poker Card requests, it’s been almost impossible to figure out the intended limits for Mafia Poker. I was able to track them down and what they should be is listed below. What they actually are do not match. Many find their news feed request is expired as soon as they post it and others have reported collecting more than 120 Poker Cards per 24 hours.

I tested this out today and did get the results that were intended. I took a screen shot of my Poker Card balance before generating a request and after. I received 20 Poker Cards.
Unfortunately, my next request didn’t work and the feed was expired. There are two possible reasons for this. Either the requests are bugged and Zynga will fix them or they decided that we could only collect 20 per day from requests. Just because you can ask every 4 hours doesn’t necessarily mean you can get more. It’s very possible that the original specs of 20/request have been changed to 20/day. We won’t really know until more time passes.

I used the 20 cards I got from my request and then performed a scan using Stream Scanner. I was able to collect 120 Poker Cards. The reset time for when you can collect more Poker Cards from the news feeds is either 12am PST or your local reset time. I can’t say for sure because both my times are the same.
Hopefully Zynga will iron out the bugs or let us know what they intend for this feature. If they didn’t rig anything, the odds of winning a hand in Mafia Poker should be 50% (1). We need at total of 120 wins to get the loot item with the highest stats. Assuming a 1:1 win/loss ratio, you would need a total of 1,200 cards. We can get this many by only collecting from the news feeds in the allotted time of 10 days. If we can also collect 120 per day by asking then nobody should have problems mastering this uneventful event!

Zynga did let us know that we are to only get one item (1). Unlike the first version of Mafia Poker, we don’t get to keep each loot item earned. It’s one item and the stats improve as you master each level. It’s not called a Single Malt for nothing.
1200 cards for emerald, i think this is impossible without giftable cards. i cant let run always stream scanner. im busy with el dorado and ice event. i think ,i will buy 1x 50 sets (35 rp) and the rest scanner.

ReplyDeleteOut of 300 cards i won 15 hands doing the just play with the 5 cards yre dealt. Thats less than 20% wins if im right. I wont be playing with this win ratio
ReplyDelete300 cards and 15 wins :o me think someone needs poker lesson. Or just forget the poker lesson and click show every hand. Probably have 40 wins minimum for 300 cards :D
