When Cuba, Moscow and Bangkok were removed from the game, the collections from those destinations remained and players could still vault/re-vault them. The trading community took another hit from Zynga because these collections are no longer accessible. Collection items from these destinations were of some value because you can no longer acquire them from in game and trading was the only way.
In the past, we could get to the Cuba, Moscow and Bangkok collections from the Inventory and selecting the Collections & Vaults Tab.
The three destinations were on the drop down menu and the collections could be accessed.

You can still gift inaccessible collection items but they no longer serve a purpose.
Now that the Cage Fight Arena offers a craftable item with +5 defense, Portable Fusion Reactors are no longer valuable. This also caused Weapon Parts to decrease in value and the only thing left that Zynga will probably mess with is Railgun Barrels. It’s hard to believe that at one point Zynga wanted to help the traders and keep that mesogroup alive. It’s obvious now what they really want to become of the traders!

PFR's may still be valuable . There will be those who want to boycott the build and the smaller levels who do not have enough live bodies in their mafia will still benefit from PFR's as they also may not be able to complete to level 11 .

DeleteWith MAU down to 2 million DAU under 500k, Mafia Wars is on fumes and we can expect them to eliminate older parts of the game to reduce maintenance and other costs. New development will come to a halt. Vegas and Italy will be eliminated and if there is 1 more country to come it will certainly be the last. Within 6 months MAUs will be under 1 million and remember that this is a greatly inflated number as most players have multiple accounts. The trading community is long ago dead and buried. It was fun while it lasted but I am afraid we are close to the end :(
ReplyDeleteThey may have pulled the Collections, but our banked and Cash in Hand is still present on the profile page. I just noticed that Brazil and Chicago also is present in the profile page...either it has been added recently or I just didn't notice it before!

the game is very much alive and active.i myself is not satisfied with the service zynga provides but this criticism has become a habit already lol everytime something new come up all we see are negative complaints .we cant be stock to the old buildable items forever that would be boring..we need new and fresh ideas i bet if zynga stops adding new feature we will be hearing complaints from the old timer coz they will be bored just imagine if until now were still in bangkok we will have no growth lol
