I mastered the Mafia Poker Event and was curious to find out what would happen next.
As soon as I won my 150th hand, I got the Emerald Level Fortune Teller.
And the opportunity to generate useless spam just to brag about it.
Initially, all stars on my Home Page banner mastery progress meter are filled and the timer is still going.
When I click on "Play Poker", I'm directed to the Mafia Poker Page and my game mastery is reset and I can continue to play.
A few page refreshes later, mastery also reset on my Home Page.
This explains why Zynga is letting us keep all of the starred loot items. If I had to get 150 more wins to get one more loot item, I probably wouldn't bother.

here. Overall, I liked this feature. I don't like that we are limited to 250 gifts a day and the majority of those need to be for Poker Cards in order to complete the event. If Zynga makes this a permanent feature in the game, they will need to do something about that. We still need to accept gifts for other game functions like the Secret Districts, New York and Family Properties. On the upcoming episode of the Informant Podcast, Jana pointed out that the timer says "SEASON ENDS IN:" and we don't really know what that is all about.

Jen - I'm unable to complete..i just reached bronze..after so many days...am i the only one in this crowd..or have everybody completed emerald levels...
ReplyDeleteI have got to emerald level but had to send to lots of my family and not all sent back or could not + i lost some hands it was fun but could not send out gold and the red and blue bags what they will have to do is get card other places like jobs fights robs to give us more of a shot to a win

ReplyDeleteI'm actually a pretty good poker player. Learned in the military and frequently won. Not doing as well with this game. Could just be a run of bad luck -- happens to the best of us -- but I have to wonder.
ReplyDeleteMine is locking up as soon as I ask to draw cards. Losing the 5 I had and however many I drew. Gonna wait till it gets fixed to continue.
ReplyDeletepeople, stop swapping out cards and just click show. On 240 cards i got 55 wins. thats a 79-80% wins. You cant get that by swapping out cards

i hate this bad luck and yeah.. 25 poker cards wasted, i dont have enough cards to play this

ReplyDeleteLol, so now I'm expected to read through every post and every comment to find out who was the first person on my page (not to mention all the other sites, forums, etc...) to notice something? If you listen to the podcast it is clear that Pete and I hadn't noticed that. I'm sure there are many people who notice or write about things well before most of us do. There is no way to keep up and say that so and so was first. As long as information makes it to the page it really shouldn't matter where it came from. I try to mention it if I found out about it from my page or elsewhere but sometimes I forget or don't remember where I read it. I do my best with the time I have and frankly Jana was the one I learned this from because I didn't scroll the wall to see a comment on a post after the fact. Sorry.

DeleteI was excited because in the last day i needed only 25 wins to get the emerald mastery, i accepted my last 250cards and went to play my 50 hands, so i won 7 times and lost 43 times, not sure why she had always pairs, triples, flushes and 2 times she had full:S
