To the dislike of us all, the next Limited Time New York Upgraded Property is now available. We knew it was coming so I guess we should be grateful that there was a small break. This property is called the Hangar. It’s like the Assassin’s Academy because it has 15 Levels. We have 14 days to get it done!
This works like all the other Limited Time Properties. Get enough parts to upgrade to Level 1 and your platform transforms into a beautiful (cough, cough) property.
The building parts which we have to beg for are the Hammer Drill, Plaster and the Cordless Drill. How many types of drills do you need? I don’t see any of them on the Free Gift Page. Hopefully one will be added at a later time or the number of parts needed will be decreased.
The chart below lists how many of each part is needed to advance to the next level. We still have to beg for 623 parts so it's not going to be easier than the Assassin's Academy.

The items you can build as each level unlocks are shown below. The Candy Dandy offers no additional skill points, the Prune Juice offers +3 attack, the Sky Hopper offers +4 defense and the the Hop Chopper offers +5 stamina. This will appeal to the players who use their reward points to speed build because you get a decent amount of points and there are no parts to acquire in order to craft.

Since I see no significant changes I will not build.
Since it doesn't seem they are letting us gift any parts, I fear the ammount of parts needed will work out to about the same. But we'll see. I am on level 4 now and the upgrade to 5 reqires 4 Hammer, 6 Plaster, 4 Cordless, so 14 parts total.

ReplyDeleteGood Luck with that- I posted for parts-the peeps are telling me they got the message that "this feed is expired"- so I spent the 6 RP to build Level 1, but then when I clicked on "upgrade" in order to send out another parts help post, it took me to Chop Shop, and I tried to see what this property would have to offer in the way of builds, I clicked on :build" and it again took me to Chop Shop. So I am now decided that I am going to totally support the BoyCott on this Hangar Building Project- since Zynga and their developers are incompetent, and the Zynga admins are being Totally Deaf to the Players protests. DeleteYou need 31 parts to get from level six to level seven, I dont know if thats the same as the prior property or not.

ReplyDeleteI'm tired of constantly begging for parts, these builds are a PITA, so I won't be taking part in this one. I will send parts to my mafia as I'm able but that's it. Maybe if zynga didn't restrict the gifting and receiving of parts so much we wouldn't feel so burned out.

ReplyDeleteAshutosh: Nothing has changed, you are correct that Lvl4 requires 3/4/3. Lvl 4 has bee mistakenly omitted from the table in this blog post, the values for the proceeding levels should be down-shifted (18/27/18 should be Lvl11 not 10).

ReplyDeletewhy you use rp's if you can finish it with in few days... if you have 20 active player... they can use the click on right way... all player can click 6 every 8 hours if they max 6 click on links.... then create more links using spockholm bookmarklet....

I am level 10 with any part link...i got 40 parts every 8 hours( 7 any part + 1 paster x 5 players)...and it is possible to get 10 any part and 1 plaster now...so 55 parts every 8 hours... good luck all :)
ReplyDeleteDoes any of you above actually enjoy playing Mafia Wars? It seems to me that all you do is complain about anything Zynga does, first there are not enough of a challenge in the game, then the challenges are too great or require too much begging. I'm a daily player who enjoys to play for some 30 minutes a day, I don't mind if my hangar doesn't get to level 15, level 5 is cool too, don't get too upset if you miss one. I win almost every fight, without spending tons of RP on skill points, why would you need more? So you can win 99 of 100 fights instead of just 95 like most players?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to stop playing, please stop, nobody forces you to stay. As long as Zynga gets a healthy return on their investment they will keep the game as it is. It is in the very nature of the game to die eventually, the players who stay get better and better, new players don't start anymore since they can never catch up and the only thing that happens is that players quit as they are fed up with the game. Zynga realizes this too and tries to earn a decent return as long as possible, who can blaim them!
Enjoy the game for a change!!!
