Free Bearded Dragon

Zynga is offering us a free Bearded Dragon. With stats of 157/92 you won't want to miss out!

The problem is they are using the same system they did for the Party Animal (1). Many players never found their Party Animal and I'm sure it was a Customer Support nightmare. The last time around, it was like playing Where's Waldo. If you are reading this early, you shouldn't have problems. Players who find out later will have to search through many requests to find it.

To get your Bearded Dragon, follow the steps below.

1. Go to your Facebook Apps and Games Page. Click on "Apps and Games" located to the far left of your Home Page or click here.

 2. Scroll until you get to the Mafia Wars requests and click on the "See requests from..." link to expand.

3.  Scroll through your requests until you see one from the Mafia Wars Application.

It will say "Free! A Bearded Dragon to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Play Mafia Wars and awaken the year of the dragon with the Sea of Red Sale!".

If you are having trouble locating the request, click the Control and F key at the same time and wait for a search bar to appear on your page. Type in Dragon or any part of the request and it will be highlighted on the page.

Facebook will only display 200 requests at a time. As you get new requests, old ones get bumped and stored in a queue. If you don't see the request on your page, you need to ignore the existing ones by clicking on the "Ignore all requests for this app" link and search the next page. Some had to do this many times over in order to find their Party Animal.

4. Once you find the request, click on the "Accept" button and you will be directed to Mafia Wars. The following popup will appear. I guess they are hoping players who have quit will start playing again. It's too bad they didn't consider the fact that most block the application and will never see the request.

Once you get the popup, go to your inventory to ensure that you got the item. This Bearded Dragon looks more like a Lizard to me. If you don't have it or can't find the request, contact Customer Support.
