Extreme Mission Series

Share:

Extreme Missions were introduced to the game on December 29th. All Zynga told us was they were "Extra Hard" and that we would get "Extra Reward". Neither one of these statements are accurate. The only thing that makes these Missions "harder" is time. You need to do a lot of waiting between property builds and collections. The extra reward is a joke as well. All you get for completing each Mission is one loot item. With the exception of the Bouncer, the stats of these items aren't that much better than rare and uncommon Boss Fight loot. They are worse than the Superior loot items which are much easier to get.
There isn't a timer on Extreme Missions so there is no reason, other than curiosity, to spend Reward Points to complete the tasks. Thanks to members of the community (Leonard Wong and Ginny Chasey) we know have found a total of 10 Extreme Missions.  To check out the tasks of each Mission, use the links in the chart below.

Now that we know the word "Extreme" should be replaced with something more appropriate like "Patient", lets take a look at the time is should take a player to complete all the tasks without spending any Reward Points. Extreme Missions 4 and 7 do not contain any tasks which require waiting so they were omitted. If a player were to catch every timer as soon as it expired and not use Reward Points to buy off tasks or speed up timers, it will take about 48 days (1,149 Hours) to finish. If you build from your New York properties every 24 hours because of Family Progression than you can add 8 days to the total and you are looking at about 46 days. I assumed you were starting at a point where you had to wait for the timer to expire. For most this won't be the case but these are just rough estimates anyway.

Total Wait Time=1,149 Hours (47.8 Days)

  1. Gr8 article with lot of details..Thanx
    Lil mistake though in computation.
    I will explain wid example.
Suppose you have to declare a war 3 times.
According to your calculation it reuires 8 X 3=24 hours
Actually it requires only 16 hours
    First at 00:00 hours
    Second at 08:00 hours
    Third at 16:00 hours

  2. Hi, it wouldn't surprise me if this loot is outdated by fight loot by the time everybody finishes these missions (without RP) :-)

  3. Thanks Rizwan, rather than recalculate everything to assume you didn't have to wait for an existing timer to expire, I just made an edit and added that the times assumed you had to wait for a timer to run out before starting. Feel free to do the math and see how much shorter it will be :)

  7. Wish more armor stuff would drop. The family bldg. is sucking up my armor stats. I'm on ?? the last one (10) unless they added more levels and this is hard to remember to do every day.

While I'm at it, keep getting more Likes than parts for the Hangar building so then don't know who sent and who didn't but just checked Like for a click. Wish there was some way to tell who sent and who didn't w/o sounding so mean about it b/c it causes hard feelings amongst the players who really did send from those who didn't.

  8. though these seem time consuming,id like to see mini missions that require u to use opposite of whats required, ie if u have to ice 60 people in chicago then offset mini missions with an energy job and i agree about the armor needing to be upped as a loot prize

  9. I made it halfway to the "Gunning for Glory," and since there is no Extreme Mission. z has sent 20 letters, but they could not effectively help! : (

May have to stop after 2.5 years: (

And this is already a month ago!
