The Home Page has been quite busy this past week. Many of the current events will be expiring soon. There are just about 10 minutes left to buy a 7 Days of Holidays Deal. The event will end today at 11:59pm PST.
There is only one day left of the Bloody Christmas Marketplace Promotion, it will end tomorrow at 11:59pm PST. If you love Marketplace Promotions, there will be one for New Years. We will probably get another 60% off deal on Reward Points so if you want to buy some, you might want to wait a few days.
The last loot drop of the Holiday Treasure Hunt will unlock at midnight and the event will be around for 2 more days when it expires on Wednesday Dec 28th at 12:00am PST.
You have a day and a half left to get 1,500 ices. Ice Season 13 will end on Tuesday at 12am PST. Ice Season 14 should start shortly after.
Tuesday will also be the last day to take advantage of 2X Mastery in Chicago. 2X Mastery will end at 11:59 PST.
The Lexington Hotel will close it's doors on Wednesday at 2pm PST. We may see it again in the future if Zynga continues with the pay to play Secret Districts. There are 2 new Secret Districts on the schedule so we may see a new one next week.
You also have until Wednesday to upgrade your Toy Store to Level 10. The timer will expire at 1pm PST.
All Contract Missions will expire on Thursday at 6am PST.
If you went to the Official Mafia Wars Blog for information on this topic, you will find a blatant error on their post about Contract Missions
(1). They fail to tell you that there are 30 Contract Missions with a total of 60 parts and they state that
"Contract Missions are designated by the red crosshaired scope icon". There are actually 9 other icons that designate Contract Missions. I don't reprint all of their posts because many contain errors or are yesterdays news. It's best to go to the

Initially I thought that only Contract Missions with the red crosshaired scope icon were going to expire but this is not the case. Here is a Contract Mission with the money sign icon and you can see there is a timer.
Many players are figuring out that there isn't enough time to complete all these events and tasks. The Holiday Season is upon us and real life often gets in the way of Mafia Wars. What Zynga fails to realize is that lack of completion leads to deletion. Players who can't finish things often decide it's a good time to quit. If Zynga wants their OCD players to be happy, they should consider removing the Requiescat in Pace Decimus Achievement if they aren't going to bring back The Raven. This is truly a great injustice in the game at the moment and the only purpose it serves is to piss of the majority of players who don't have it and have no way of completing it.
For all of our sake, Zynga needs to slow down because they can't afford to lose anymore players.

I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this, when you do the seven days promo, you get multiple items per purchase after day one, do these each count as an item towards the bloody Christmas promo, or is it one purchases even if you get six items? Or do they count at all?
