The latest episode of the Informant Podcast is now available. This one wasn't very much fun to tape because everyone is getting fed up. We try to be positive and highlight the fun parts of the game but there isn't much fun left and we are all seriously looking into other options to occupy out free time. The more I read about the IPO and experience how Mafia Wars players are treated, the more I consider walking away. I heard there will be a new team soon so maybe things could get better. There is always hope. If you want to listen to the show now, just click the play button below.

  2. Nice listen, you thoughts about the game are shared with much of the community, it does seem like more and more stuff is being put in for the seasoned player and Zynga has pretty much said screw all the new players. Even the new areas, Brazil and Chicago, the requirements for the last levels are so high that you have to be over 1000 to even be able to do them. The new properties, while overall pretty pointless except for the stat points, are becoming more and more frustrating. Part of me hopes they fix the issues, go back to basics, keep the game fun for everyone, the new families are nice but they somehow turned the game into a daily chore and in turn crippled the people who don't want to have 500 friends all playing. Here's hoping they turn the game back in the right direction, but I doubt it will happen.
