The Gift Collector by Team Spockholm

Five days ago, I made a post pointing out the fact that it's possible to convert gifts (1). It was (and still is) unclear if this is a glitch or something Zynga doesn't plan on stopping. Team Spockholm stated that if Zynga didn't remove this ability from the back code, they would release a script that would allow players to select the types of gifts they want. They decided to move forward and the script was named the Gift Collector. It is now available to all players and can be found on the Spockholm Mafia Tools Beta Page.

Click, drop and drag the Gift Collector into your bookmark toolbar.

If you  use the Spockholm Toolbar, paste the import code shown below into your configuration.

Unframe your game (if you are using the script from the Spockholm Toolbar, unframeing isn't required) and click on Gift Collector to activate. You can be on any page when you do this and it's not necessary to open up your ZMC. The Gift Collector will tell you how many of the gifts in your ZMC are available for conversion.

You decide what you want your gifts to be. You can make them all the same gift or you can mix it up. The drop menu lists the gifts that you can convert your current gifts into. Team Spockholm will add more gifts with future updates or as they become available.

If you want to convert your gifts into more than one of the gifts listed above, click on the "more" link and another drop menu and counter will appear. You can add as many as you like.

Now decide what gifts you want. In the example below, I had 96 gifts which were eligible for conversion. Not everything in your ZMC can be converted but the Gift Collector will let you know how many items can be. I mixed it up and brought my total to 96. I added 5 types of gifts and moved the counters to 3 Secret Drops, 10 Red Mystery Bags, 15 Blue Mystery Bags, 30 Special Parts and 38 Exotic Animal Feeds. To enter your numbers, you can either type them in or use the up and down arrows.

Check the "Send gifts back" box to ensure that you return your gifts (this is the default). The gifts that are returned to your mafia are the original gift that they sent to you. I'm not sure why anybody wouldn't want to send a gift back but if you only like to receive, the option to uncheck the "Send gifts back" box is there. When you have everything set up the way you want, just click start and wait for your gifts to be opened and returned.

When the run is complete, you will get a nice log showing you what items you received and how many gifts you returned. The number of Loyalty Points is also listed. This is a fun script that gives you many options. I love the fact that there is no longer a reason to be annoyed with players who continue to send you crappy gifts. Convert them to what you want and they will still get a crappy gift in return. It's also nice to know I can return property upgrade parts to my mafia members who need them without having to accept something I no longer need in order to do so. Hopefully Zynga will allow for this feature to exist as it will make gifting much more enjoyable. If they could increase the holding capacity of the ZMC, that would be extra cool.
