Gift Accepting Limit Increased to 250

Zynga doesn't even announce their good news to players so it's up to the community to figure things out and do it for them. We were told 4 days ago that they were considering increasing the number of free gifts we could accept in a day (1).  Thanks to Delisha Kings post on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page, we saw that she was able to accept 251 request for the day (family requests do not count towards the limit). I went to an account with a full ZMC and ran the Gift Collector to verify her results. My count was at zero when I started the run.  I had accepted 2 gifts manually which don't show up on the Gift Collector.

I had to do two runs but when the limit was hit, 248 gifts were logged into the Gift Collector.

To rule out any display errors on the Gift Collector, I ran the Inventory History before and after. Everything was in my inventory so it's official, the new gift accept limit has been increased from 200 to 250. 500 would have been a more reasonable number but this is better than no increase at all. I don't know if Zynga plans on telling us about this change or not.  Look for other sites that don't acknowledge reading this blog to claim they just noticed and have posts out within the hour. If they wait for Zynga it may never happen.

If you try to run the Gift Collector again, it will say 200 after "Already accepted today:" but this is now a display error.

Thanks to Delisha for noticing the increase. I'm not sure when it happened but glad it did.
