In the post below this one, I outlined a new event called The Don's Gift
(1). We were offered the first gift called a Point 4 and thanks to the Inventory History Spocklet, I was able to show you the next 9 gifts. The first gift has already been replaced. It hasn't even been 8 hours. It is Sunday and I'm sure a lot of players weren't able to ask for their gifts. Gift #2. Triplets, is now on the Free Gift Page.
The stats won't help many but collectors will want to get this item. The event works the same way as outlined in the original post referenced above.
Just click the "Share" button to get your 3 gifts. Many were confused and thought The Don's Gift wasn't working. If you have given Mafia Wars permission to post on Facebook as you, there will be no post for you to publish. Check your wall and most likely it will be there.
If you are a collector and you weren't on line when the Point 4 was offered, don't freak out. You will be able to get 2 of them though old feed requests. Use the Stream Scanner or search your news feeds manually for old posts. The Don's Gifts can be found on the "FeedOfTheDay" Tab. Team Spockholm doesn't name the tabs, they are named after what is written in the back code. Because it's called FeedOfTheDay, I'm pretty sure the pace will slow down and we will start seeing one gift a day. The event was pushed out late so Zynga is probably just playing catch up.
I verified manually that you can still get Don's Gifts even if they are off the Free Gift page. I used an alternate account and the feed post was clicked after the Point 4 was gone. I still got the item. This should only please the collectors as none of the Don's Gifts will be helpful to most players.
