Deceiving Popups

The other day I got a popup telling me that "ALL Loot and Crate items are discounted up to 20%.". When I checked it out, I found this wasn't true.

The newly released items (the ones with the better stats) were all still 35 Reward Points.

You had to scroll down to the older items to find the ones that were 20% off. I would about half of loot items were 20% off.

I can accept the sales gimmick phrase of "Up To 20%", but when something says ALL items, I would expect every last loot item to have some type of discount. This is truly false advertising. Speaking of loot prices, what ever happened to the . Back in January of this year, Zynga had made a big deal about the fact that new loot items were going to cost 25 instead of 35 Reward Points (1). Lately it seems all the newly released loot items are back to 35 Reward Points.

Since they are no longer doing this and have jacked the price of new loot items to 35 Reward Points, they need to stop running the ad shown above in the Featured Items Module. Again, false advertising.

Today, I got another Marketplace Sale popup that contained yet another lie. I was told that "ALL Stat Items are discounted up to 10%.".

When I viewed ALL the Stat Items available in the Marketplace, not all of them were discounted. Health and Mafia Members were still full price.
