Over a month ago, I posted a very funny Customer Support video created by created by Ben Ellickson of the 1st Ward Family. Ben has done it again and created a sequel. Obviously his issues with the Family Module aren't being resolved. In fact there are some serious issues throughout the game not being resolved for any of us. It's quite annoying to have new content constantly pushed out why these issues persist. Instead of getting crazy mad about it, watch the video below and laugh about it. If this doesn't help you feel better about Mafia Wars, then do what many are doing and quit.

Our GF had the same thing happen to his family page. All his family control buttons just disappeared one day and for a month he was trying to get Zynga to fix it. They never did anything, but through a random conversation in our family group we finally figured out that for some reason the game had demoted him as GF and promoted another player to the position. The other person had no idea that they were made GF and thought the buttons were on there because the gf had promoted a bunch of members to admin so they would show up in family battles. We thought maybe he had done it himself without realizing it, but when we where switching him back there was a pop up that said "You have to demote yourself as GF to promote another person as GF" then after that another pop up that said 'Are you sure you want to do this". It would be kind of hard to miss those and accidentally demote yourself as GF without realizing it.

ReplyDeleteThat did not happen here in fact all my admins lost our rights to be admins and only some of our buttons disappeared. Those that are left don't work. At any rate I am still listed as Gf but even if it turns out to be something simple you would think after 15 plus exchanges with customer service they would point that out. I did have live chats with customer service and they did see there was a problem but just were not sure what it is. They have "accelerated" my issue 10 times, some one can't reach that pedal.
