When the Botanical Garden was prematurely released, I posted a chart of how many parts are needed for each level. I'm posting it again for review as many have asked. It seems every time a new property comes out, it requires more parts than the ones before it. All this property part spam is getting ridiculous and there is no end in sight. As long as we keep upgrading our properties, Zynga will continue to release them. I wish we could form an organized boycott but there are too many OCD players that wouldn't be able to go through with it. I'm one of them.

If you must get to level 10, you will need to get a total of 292 parts. You get 6 parts for each request so a total of 49 spam posts are needed. According to the timers, you can make one any part post and one individual post every 8 hours. In theory, if all your posts were clicked on 6 times and you made two every 8 hours, it should take a total of 128 hours (a little over 5 days) to fully upgrade. We get 14 days so players who are always on line should have no issues. Some people only play Mafia Wars once a day and they will find themselves in trouble. If they post their 2 requests once a day for 14 days and get 6 parts per request, they will end up with 224 parts and not make it to level 10. For those of us who play more frequently, there are two timers to keep an eye on. The any part request timer is on the Home Page and the individual part request timer is on the View Part Page.

If you don't like waiting out the timer, there is another option. The Mission Crew Link bookmarklet by Team Spockholm will allow you to generate a new request whenever you want. Each request will net you 6 parts. These requests will expire if you upgrade your property so you will need to make a new one when that happens. By popular request, here is a review of how to install and use the Mission Crew Link to generate your property part requests. This only works for the any part request. You in game timer will reset to 8 hours every time you post a request.

1. Go to the Spockholm Mafia Tools Experimental Page and locate the Mission Crew Link bookmarklet.

2a.  Click, drag and drop Mission Crew Link into your bookmarklet toolbar.

2b. If you use the Spockholm Mafia Toolbar, you can import the code below to add it to the Spocklet Menu.

3. When you are ready to generate a request, unframe your game and click on the Mission Crew Link which is now in your bookmark tool bar. If you use the Spockholm Toolbar, unframing isn't necessary. You will get a popup with some options on it. To make a property part request, click on "Any Part".

4. You will get a second popup with your own personal spockon.me link.

5. If you want to post your request to a group page or anywhere other than your wall, copy the link and paste it to your desired location.

6. To post to your wall and get your request circulating through the news feeds, click on the "Post to wall" link.

7. If you haven't given Zynga permission to auto-post, a request will be generated and the request will go to your wall when you click on "Share". If you auto-post, you won't see your request but it will automatically go to your wall. It's a good idea to delete your older posts so that only the active ones get clicked.

8. When the request is posted to your wall, the link will change and say "Posted to wall" with a check mark next to it. You can click the X in the upper right corner to close it all.

9. Repeat the process until you get to Level 10. There is no sense in posting requests like a crazed monkey. Wait until you 6 people click on them or they expire to generate a new one. Some players get to Level 10 in a day or so and this is the technique used. The more active your mafia and groups are the faster this process will go.
