Sweetest Halloween Treat Contest

The Official Mafia Wars Blog has announced the Sweetest Halloween Treat Contest. For all the details on how to join, go here or keep reading.

It seems a little detailed for one piece of loot (with a catch) but here are the 8 steps you will need to take if you are interested.

1.  Send one e-mail to coolcontests@mafiawars.com with the subject as

2.  Make the subject Mafia Wars Sweetest Halloween Treat Contest Entry

3.  Include your name.

4.  Answer the easy trivia question shown below.  The question isn't challenging and it's ridiculous that it comes with a hint. Here is better hint...Chicago.

What was the major** travel destination most recently added to Mafia Wars? (**not a Secret District) (Hint: It is a city in the United States of America.)


5.  Tell them which of the 6 Mafia Wars Fan Pages you are a fan of:
• The English Mafia Wars Facebook fan page
• The French Mafia Wars Facebook fan page
• The German Mafia Wars Facebook fan page
• The Italian Mafia Wars Facebook fan page
• The Portuguese Mafia Wars Facebook fan page
• The Spanish Mafia Wars Facebook fan page

6.  Give them your Facebook ID  which is found in your browser bar when you are on your profile page. It will either be a bunch of numbers or a name if you changed it.
7.  If you are still interested, go to your Inventory Page and filter the loot according to this image.

8.  From the loot items listed, let them know which one you would like. There are a total of 737 items to choose from. I didn't bother going through the list to see which ones were the best I leave that up to those of you who enter. It may be more worth all this hassle if the Street Blade were an option.
The official rules can be found here. Entries will be accepted until October 31st at 11:59 PDT. There will be a total of 30 winners (5 from each fan page).

    Another example of Zyngatard thinking...er...whatever it is they do with that mush in their heads.
    They'll be lucky to get 30 entries total.
    Why would I jump through all those hoops for a miniscule chance at one piece of so-so loot?
    They might get a better rate of participation if they were to give EVERY entrant a piece of loot.
    Of course that would fry their already overloaded servers.
