On two occasions now, I noticed that one of my New York properties is off when it comes to the timer. I craft all my items at the same time everyday so it didn't make sense. I always build from the 4 traditional properties for Family Progression and will do one of the limited time properties when it hits the 18 hour mark. I crafted a Mummy about 5 hours ago.
As soon as Family Progression reset, I went to craft my Chop Shop, Weapons Depot, Armory and Private Zoo items. Everything went fine except for the Private Zoo. My timer said that I had over 8 hours before I could craft again. It was also odd that it would cost 12 Reward Points to speed it up as the Reward Point cost starts at 12 when the timer is at 18 hours and goes down in price as the timer goes down. A few days ago, my Weapons Depot did the same thing and I thought maybe I crafted something by mistake.
Interesting enough my Private Zoo was the only property on my Build Your Empire Module that had a "Build It" button. The timer is at 8 hours and 24 minutes but it is saying I can build the item. When I clicked on it nothing happened and it disappeared. The timer remained unchanged.

this post on Misty's blog and decided maybe I wasn't crazy or forgetful. Misty says in order to report the issue to Zynga, "you'll need to explain the problem to them as you would to a three year old. Drawing pictures might help them understand better.". I decided to try this but I couldn't reproduce the bug on any of my other accounts. The only thing I did differently than normal on the two days in question was I opened Mystery Bags and had limited time upgrade property items on my wishlist.
On both those days, I got an item on my wishlist from the Mystery Bag. I went back to my energy account and opened Mystery Bags until I got one of the property items and still couldn't reproduce a timer mishap. I started thinking back in time and maybe it's possible I crafted something from the Cemetery and forgot about it. Until somebody can reproduce this bug Zynga will assume it doesn't exist and that those who experience are just forgetful. It's possible that this is the case. The fact that the "Build It" button is on the Home Page of the property with the assumed jacked up timer makes me think there may be something more to this.

ReplyDeleteHappened to me also I got the widebeest but no +20 health. I had only 1 widebeest in my inventory because I am cheap and do only warthogs. I checked imidiately after this and found 2 widebeest. The next time I went there unfortunately I could craft only 4 proprieties. Short I lost 1 build. 7-9 days from today.

ReplyDeleteFor several days at top of my MW screen was a come-on for "Mystery Island". I finally clicked and was informed: "The application is not ready yet. Thank you for your participation." I quizzed all of my MW family to determine if they had also been given this link. After several "Da Plane, Da Plane," and "don't drink and play" suggestions I concluded it was a test for the yet-to-be-introduced in-game ads (see CafeWorld). Comments?

At least one person can reproduce the problem regularly.
This happened to me twice before I finally got on Zynga chat and complained about this issue. I thought the same thing- I must of accidentally crafted an item why quickly clicking like a zombie. I ran an inventory check i believe both times and i was missing an extra loot item from crafting which led me to believe it was a bug. I generally craft my items left to right with my Martial Arts Dojo being the last property to craft. Both times when I got the premature crafting refresh time (by only crafting 4/5 properties)it was due to crafting the limited time property second to last. I was compensated so hopefully you are as well.
ReplyDeletei've had the same problem twice now, both times after i speed built on one of the properties... i tried complaining to zynga but by the time they responded, it was too late as my next 18 hr cycle was already up.
