When Zynga nerfed the Limited Time Upgrade Properties, I mentioned that crafting from them now counts towards Family Progression
(1).
There is a catch. A total of 60 points is needed to fully master Family Progression each day. You need 5 points to master Bronze, 15 for Silver and 40 for Gold.
Points are determined by the level of the property you craft from. 60 points is easily accomplished by crafting from a fully upgraded Chop Shop, Weapons Depot, Armory and Private Zoo because these properties are all Level 15. You get one point per level. The new Limited Time Upgrade Properties only go to Level 10 so there is no way to master the Gold Level on Family Progression if you choose to craft from all 4 of them instead of the original properties. If Family Progression is important to you then you need to leave one behind.

but u get to craft 5 items a day so 4 of em at 10 points n 1 of the origonal propertys, maybe?

ReplyDeleteReally, losing a few family progression points isn't a big deal -- most families are overstocked on the building and job points and understocked on the fighting and helper points, and unfortunately the family has to meet goals on all four, not just the total, in order to level up.
What I'd miss is that nice tasty burrito of experience that the gold level gets you every day.

ReplyDeleteTad's Gunshop I can do without, the original Weapons depot offers better stuff and the rest of them produce Henchman, so...obvious choice.
In my family we are way, way, way behind on the ices. So none of this matters (for us, anyway), because the property progression maxes out way before the ices do.
ReplyDeleteIs there info somewhere that ALL players can now only build five items between the craftable properties in NY?? (some of my mafia is lucky and can build from each property still. some are screwed)
