In a genius marketing strategy Zynga decided to notify players that the Lucky Stash loot was refreshed two days after the fact.
The main difference between today and two days ago is the jackpot was high and ready to be hit. The popup above probably would have drew in more players two days ago. See the difference? There really is no incentive to play the Lucky Stash using Reward Points. You will spend around 20-60 (minus those rare wins) to get one loot item. If you are going to do that, you might as well just go buy some new Crates. It will be cheaper. If you think you will win a lot of Reward Points, read my post here. You won't!!!
Lucky Stash Loot Release Day
Lucky Stash Loot Notification Day
Some lucky person named trill from da bay won and will get 1,000 Reward Points a week for the next 68 weeks. I wonder if Mafia Wars will even be around that long? Is it a coincidence that this players name suggests they are from the Bay Area, the same location as Zynga Headquarters? Comments are moderated and won't appear right away. I'm almost willing that Zynga has bot accounts that win most of the time.
ReplyDeleteAssuming (notice the sneaky reference to the Ass group) that the slot machine generates truly random results on every spin, then it is an unbelievably remote chance that every single winner paid over 50,000 RP's. Given that the jackpot started somewhere down around 10,000 or less for each reset after a big winner. Over the course of a year, and that many spins, any mathemetician would reasonably expect a winner in the 20-30,000 range, or 40,000...and maybe a deferred winner at 80,000 or even 100,000.
ReplyDeleteJust take a look at the recent winners for the "super lottos" or whatever game the government uses to loot the poor where you live. You will see a significant variation in the winning amounts. Nothing like the Zynga-rigged results.
Bottom line: Anyone that plays this game is a sucker.
The smart money says don't play at all...until the bonus gets to 50,000. Then you might have an infinitesimal chance of success.
I have never met or run into one of the winners.
Have you?
Don't give up your day jobs.
Ok I'm confused now. So what's the better waste of RP's, playing Slots or buying Crates? You've been a little contradictory there :P
ReplyDeleteI said if you wish to waste Reward Points. It's bad to use RPs on anything that will be useless in the future.
ReplyDeleteRapax you are an incompetent person...learn to read and understand all of the previous before you post...and....
ReplyDeleteAt the end the lesson is don`t waste rp on bullshit...buy skill points or rebuilt ny property items with them.
use your rp's on build up or reallocation.that's the best you can do! john lado
ReplyDeleteYeah thanks for the compliment Mr. Anonymous. I guess you can never try to be tongue in cheek without some brainiac thinking he needs to explain things to you.
ReplyDeleteAll I'm pointing out is that the LootLady made these two wonderfully contradictory statements within a few posts:
"If you're going to waste Reward Points, you might as well play the rigged Lucky Stash slot machine."
"If you are going to do that, you might as well just go buy some new Crates."
Which I personally find hilarious. I guess she couldn't decide what's a bigger waste of RP.
