Many players are reporting loading issues with Mafia Wars. It's been going on for quite some time now. This issue has been reported to the team by Cerulean Master. Follow this thread for updates. Check out CM's new profile image and signature block. I guess he is pretty excited for the release of Chicago.

It's been over six hours for me. Still can't load Mafia Wars :(
ReplyDeleteJust tried and failed to load - white screen of death ruling my mafia world right now! :-(
ReplyDeletesame here will not load thing freaks my pc out
ReplyDeletethis is still impacting a bunch of people in my family. they are all getting a taste of life w/out MW and finding that they don't miss it all that much. and it impacts those of us who can logon because there are less people who can help us war, get property upgrades (beg via spam), etc.
ReplyDeleteBeen almost a week for me, before they added UA event my game would just flash back and forth white screen over and over non stop freaking out. now after adding the even its just a blank white screen. Guess Chicago and these events are more important than getting EVERYONE back into the game playing again. Another great job by the lackies at Zynga. Guess ill have to keep waiting to see when ill be able to play again. All other games work fine. BTW I am using chrome, but have the same issue on all browsers on the planet.
ReplyDeletecan't load the game from either facebook or mafiawars.com for a week now... i use chrome, iron, and safari... hate using firefox but i can at least see the game in that browser.
ReplyDeletethe mafia wars development team has lost the plot. they are trying to do too much while ignoring known gameplay issues... adding more meaningless shit to the game will not attract more players. fixing the known issues in the game will strengthen the relationship zynga has with its players and then more players will be interested in playing mw.
java errors of failing to connect clearly indicate that mw developers can't seem to find their ass with both hands.
