Treasure Chest Glitch Rollbacks

I don't know anything official at this point but a few players who encountered the Treasure Chest Key glitch are starting to report that their accounts were rolled back to a previous state. Here is how it happened. In the third part of the Lead To Gold Mission, we were required to loot 10 Everglade Rat Snakes from fighting. You can see while doing this task Treasure Keys also dropped.
Players who did not complete this part of the Mission and fought as they normally would  found they got a whole lot of Treasure Chest Keys.
They used these keys to open Treasure Chests and got a lot of Reward Points by doing so.
I didn't get too many as I was working on a blog post but came out ahead with maybe 20 Reward Points. Some players reported getting thousands.
In the last part of the Mission, I got 17 Treasure Chest Keys from generating a news feed post. I'm not sure if these will be rolled back too.
I don't have anything official, I only know of a few players who were rolled back and stated they were rolled back to a certain point in time. They lost levels and anything they bought with Reward Points as well as the Reward Points. I have no verification so I can't say 100% if it's true or not. All I could find on the forums was someone complaining about the players who stumbled onto the glitch. I don;t think those people he talks about are really his friends. I wouldn't necessarily call fighting as you normally would cheating. You can't really help what drops. Again we see a fault in the code on Zynga's end so it will be interesting to see how Zynga handles this.

Default Treasure Chest Glitch!! Please roll back the cheaters...
wow way to go zynga....

my friends won thousands of RPs due to this glitch... & the field looks very balanced now , my friend who was weaker than me added 1.5k to his a&d in single day!! one of my friend won 1000RPs two times a day... & many others won 50+RPs. Its raining RPs!!!!

If you dont roll them back i am going to leave this game..

    I just Hope its not like the War Loot rollback, NO War rewards for 3 months..well 2 mths 19 days...What about The Treasure Chests we Used..Hope we get Them Rolled Back Too... All ways takes One Cry baby to Spoil the Party ...

    i wouldnt call an accidental glitch like this cheating. for the people who ran into it accidentally . but zynga are right i think to roll this back as people were publicizing it every where and if you tried it knowing it was a glitch and amassed a vast chunk of reward point's from the glitch then you cant really moan when zynga says no you cant keep 400 dollars worth of free godfather points? if the back door to a shop is open at night and you walk past you cant help yourself to whatever you like and call it a lucky find youve still robbed a shop ? I.M.H.O

    what do you call it when most players dn't have powerpack its not a glitch but zynga giving those who have them an added advantage whoever was lucky to gain on this good for them i personally have seen this game go down from good to bad soley because zynga developers just can't get things right this is their problem for getting it wrong will they roll back game for those who did not have p/packs no this game is totally unfair already i say leave it as it is next time your Devs should get things right AND STOP KILLING THIS GOOD GAME ITS zYNGA'S LOSS LMAO wish i had glitch lol

    I was on during this, and waited... i figured they would roll it back... they just better not randomly pick who they roll back either, as i did not get it, or any rps, last time there was a massive roll back (before the war rewards) i didnt get it yet still got rolled back.. It sucks that everybody doesnt get it, and thats why it gets rolled back, for that i suppose i am glad, as its unfair for those who are at work or asleep, if you used the keys, you would have known there was a chance of there being a roll back. I am close to quitting this game at the moment, and if my account gets rolled back, when i have not gotten the keys, that will be the nail in the coffin for me. I spend way too much time and money on this game, and if im going to be punished for something again which i didnt get an advantage from, that will be the end. Yes the keys dropping wasnt the players faults (however they used them knowing something wasnt right) so they should expect their account to be rolled back.... jus sayin

    How much does Zynga pay these Developers i guess way enough so why all these problems in the game i got rolled back even though i didn't gain from war roll back i again didn't gain on this glitch if i'm rolled back god bye mw this game is totally unfair just like comment on above i also dn't have p.packs is this going to stop every1 from using them because some dn't have it no Zynga need to accept their faults firstly and work on glitches not happening good for those who got them just like those who got p.pack first it makes no difference to this game is unbalanced /unfair already

    How Will We, the players that struggle to do everything, know for sure they are rolled back?

    And for those who got lucky (paid their way into) this glitch most certainly should have them rolled back. If it's not you just might see 1 million players quit playing daily. Oh, wait, there aren't 1 million daily players left anymore thanks to you e-ho's that have to have everything completed within minutes of it being released.

    And the Whiner who should have been happy for friend ratted him out! With all the shafts we are expected to bend over and take this "new to Forums; poster should have kept their mouth shut. This was a case of He or She could not figure out how to get them or it was not happening on their account otherwise they would not have had this altruistic sense of game balance! ~MIke V

    well some people spent rp to get that mission done, i dont think its fair they roll back on there mistake..Maybe Z should double and triple check there work b4 rolling out a new district..so we click and click away to gain some keys to get rolled back.. Dont make us suffer Z because your in a hurry to get new things out because 1000s of people are leaving the game daily because you have made it un-fun for the trading world by limiting gifting and not making anything good gift-able !!!!!

    Zynga keeps pumping out two and three new things each freaking week and expects US to tell them what works and what doesn't? No! That is why they have code programmers and developers and insight people and floor test technicians. This glitch is NOT our fault. It is their...

    Take this into account... a gas station attendant over pumps the amount the patron asked for, we'll say $10. The take is now full at over $30. The patron is not requested to pay, it is up to him or her to pay as the certified petroleum distributor is the one at fault. the gas station and or the gas jockey are the ones that take the bite.

    This is a Zynga NERF and if they try to roll me back on it I will BBB and FCC them into the ground.

    they probably will roll back the players who benefited off the glitch, last year i got rps off the glitch that would give rps everytime you refereshed the link, they didnt roll back but took the rps off unless you already spent them, then i got the code were you got 600 rp and like everyone else got rolled back 3 days as well as the players who didnt do it, its just typical of zynga to roll back and take the non guilty with them, they get enough rps off players who spend on thier illegal slot machine, if its thier fault then they should leave it as it is not fuck everyone over

    Well here is my 2cent,I did play and I got many keys.I had 4 chest to open.I play the game to enjoy.I don't give a rats ass if you got a glitch.
    For one to post he knows someone who got 1,ooo of GF point is total bull shit.We can say anything we want,who going to check out what we say?I come in here every day to stay inform about what's going on.If they roll back my account for those 4 chest I open ( so be it)Like woo with me someone came in and kick my ass.Who care? Get a life people your all heading my way! Almost 70 and don't give a rats ass LOL

    come on..... how does a glitch like that happen??/ it takes some jerk to make the key icon and put it in the program as a reward for fighting. Its a program..... that shit dont just fall off a shelf!!!!

    Well I didn't get the glitch, but now I have 6 keys left and I had 10 before, and I now have 0 chests.

    FABULOUS, I lost 4 Keys, and ALL my chests, so how the hell am I supposed to use my keys ?

    Zynga Logic, We'll hire 1,000,000 monkeys and give them laptops, sooner or later one of them will fix the bug.
