The Probable Reason Chicago Was Pulled

Share:

In the post below, I explained that Chicago was pulled about an hour after release. Zynga told us it was pulled but never said why. I think I know the reason. Some players who started to work on Chicago found that many levels and skill points were added to their account. Here is an image of one lucky players account who all of a sudden found themselves 1,349 levels higher than they were. Others posted about this glitch on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page and stated Reward Points for the extra levels were also received. So much for a balanced playing field!

  1. "You have 5 Skill Points to spend"

Yeah...that sucks ass. I'm willing to bet that I lose my 5 SPs and more if accounts are rolled back.

  3. That's nothing, one of my clan members received over 15,000 skill points out of the blue due to supposed 'level ups'. Merely logged in after a week on holiday.

For those who were lucky enough to get the glitch, best of luck - hope it doesn't get rolled back. But for someone like me, who spends hours and hours trying to level up and even spending a pretty penny on the game, there's no reason to continue.

Can't compete with the massive cc players, and can't compete with the lucky ones.

  4. I come back to my same point every time, different issues, different days......Zynga should NOT be introducing new things in this game without proper testing as it's we the players that always pay the price for their incompetence. Do it right or don't bother Zynga. We deserve better than that, don't we?

I own an internet business and in no way would I be willing to crank out work like that to my customers. Ever. I value my customers and I wish you would too.

  6. speaking of glitches, was running assasinator just now and a new mission came up, had 7k exp reward and 2 decent looking items it must of been a chicago boss on it, needed to fight 250 people, do a job 35 times, tried that and wouldnt work, said i needed to be more powerfull even with my 200k stats, had to ask 20 mafia for help, managed to get that up and ask, then the whole thing dissapears... fix your fucking stuff zynga, best thing they can do, is close the game down for a whole week. fix stuff then see howmany come back to the game after a week off

  9. If they don't get rolled they better pay attention to energy and stamina. This is from massive lvl ups and people that were lvl 1800 now need 80,000 exp to lvl. I have seen the screen shots of a billion EXP from 22 robs lol. She put her skills to att and def and now needs 80k exp to lvl and has 2k energy and 3k stamina. She is strong while she can play, but will lvl once a week at best.

  10. i know someone who got 67,000 skill points, she told Zynga as she didnt want her account deleted totally like so many in the past for Zyngas mess ups yet again, and Zynga told her to not spend them but Zynga dont have the proper tools to take them back yet, so she has to look at them until they take them back, oh she went up 9k level also lol, Zynga you are a joke!!!

  11. It's not about the rollback. it's about inconsistency and instability -- this is one of zynga's products that they "sell" to their customer base, not just in monetary terms - but in time spent online to generate ad revenue.

If the company i worked for had this many errors and glitches, I would not be proud about the quality of my work or output. At some point, zynga should take a step back and listen to their players. 1-2 special events per month is more than enough. Not back to back and overlapping, causing numerous game play inconveniences and errors.
