The Family Boss Fight is still broke. There appear to be two separate issues that families are having. The first I discussed yesterday. Many can not reset the fight and it's stuck on the "Please wait a few minutes while we calculate the results!" page.
We were able to reset the Boss Fight once and only 7 of our family members participated. Most had accepted it was broke and forgot about it.
After the fight shown above, the Boss Fight Page is stuck again. Players who did not participate in this fight we unable to collect their loot items from the one before. You can see the leaderboard is all kinds of messed up. Our #2 guy, Kurdo Mo, from above is showing up with a score of 550. When compared to the image above, you can see he actually had a score of 28,640 and there were 7 players who joined the fight but only 6 on the leaderboard.
If a family is lucky enough to be able to reset the Boss Fight, they often arrive with a full Rage Meter and family members are not shown on the left column so nobody can send or receive boosts. Thanks to Jason Roberts of the [M.P.R.] for the screen shot.
I never thought I would have to write about Zynga breaking a feature that requires Reward Points to use. Many families continually do the Boss Fight and spend 25 Reward Points for each fight. The Hoff of [RYfG] has 1,145 Boss Fight loot items and even had a Street Blade drop. This family is also having issues with their Boss Fight.
Many may not care about the Family Boss Fight and could give a flip that it's broke. One forgotten issue that creeps up every now and then in The Raven (many don't care about him either). If the Family Boss Fight is a feature we can't use then Zynga should bring him back so players who are close to getting the achievement have a chance.
The Family Boss Fight was a feature that engaged many players in game and kept them interested. It is a Reward Point spending machine for Zynga and I'm really shocked they have let it sit broken for all this time. There is only one thing to say about this as it's just unbelievable.

I had that issue from the very first fight and it continued through every fight. I could fight for myself, and receive boosts, but not send any. I stopped fighting the boss in the end as it was unfair that I was benefitting.

And we're supposed to care that a family that has beaten Jeff more than 200 times is having trouble when most haven't beaten jeff 10 times, why?
