Now that the stats on the loot items that drop from the Smuggler's Haven have been increased, I thought it would be worth checking out the drop rates. We already knew they sucked but I did 1,000 job run on each level of mastery. I chose the job "Help Defend The Haven From Police" because it has the best experience payout to energy cost ratio.
Here are the results of each run from the RepeatJob Loader bookmarklet by Team Spockholm.
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Ruby
It's been well established that loot drop rates are random and if I did the same runs on the same account, the results would probably be different. This should just be taken as a rough estimate of how much energy you will have to spend to get a loot item. I found it interesting that the experience/energy ratio is slightly better on the Gold Level. It will cost you a lot less energy to loot these items on the Bronze Level but you won't get the benefits of the better ratio. If I hadn't mastered the Smuggler's Haven, I would have stayed on Gold until the day.

Interesting, I have 6 on my main account at a probable cost of 60,000 to 70,000 energy each! On my looter, i've seen drop rates which are totally random, yesterday I dropped 8 with 134,136 energy/276 jobs, but generally I am getting one per 150 to 200 jobs

Best ratio, over 2.32
A small correction. "Help Defend the Haven from Police" pays 2.323 exp/energy, but is not the highest. In ruby tier, "Intimidate a Local Thug" is the highest at 2.379. "Discover the Smuggler's Haven" is at 2.366, "Bribe..." and "Recover..." are both at 2.354. "Gain..." is at 2.326, negligibly higher.
ReplyDeleteI think looting here is just purely bad, the only item which is worth it drops rarely and is a defense item...trying to loot items here and serial leveling here is just bad and will definitely make you weaker not stronger in the long run...if you really wanna farm, keep doing district 8, there are still about 3 items whihc increase the average players statistics there, even some attack items...
ReplyDeleteFunny how Zynga thinks the average player has 500 million energy, stamina and health....this game is based on the super player and nothing less. It gives the average player no chance at all to complete these missions or ever max on loot. BS!

I wonder if what you're seeing is the "level the playing field" garbage that Zynga did when they opened Brazil, making the energy requirements different for players with different levels of experience?
This is one of the few games I've ever played that the better one gets, the worse are the rewards. Pretty silly of Zynga to keep configuring it that way, especially since they've now reached the point that old players are leaving the game at a significantly faster rate than new players are coming in.
Yes, why do they have it set up where you use 5x's the energy and get 2x's the rewards. Crazy!
