Server Maintenance

Server maintenance in Mafia Wars is becoming just about as common as nerfs.
So much so that they didn't bother to update the forum announcement. It's the same one they used last time and the date is from a few days ago. There is an update but I'm confused and don't know if it's also left over from last time. A few players are reporting that when they went to Mafia Wars, they were in an account not owned by them. This sounds kind of serious and more than a "display error".

We will be updating our servers today, 8/19/2011 starting at 1pm PDT. This should be complete in about 4 hours. During this time you may experience load delays and slow game performance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    When I went back in, MW was in Spanish. Easy to fix, but weird.

    I opened a new window and got an account in Portugese that was still working on some of the early Italy and Aurora missions--and was bronze level one last week. Really funny thing,in the other window, my MWAddOn kept fighting away on my own account. Went to dinner and now new windows go to my own account LOL

    I doubt it that is only a few players. I checked all my 6 accounts and ended up being in 6 unknown Mafia Wars profiles. This is the second time it's happening for the last 7-8 days. Zynga better sort this out quick or they may need to start soon their own Mafia Wars families and "play with themselves" because there will be not many people left, with the crap they throw us on a daily basis.

    One of my friend landed in another lower level users profile and it got changer to her's now. But, lost 135 RP's that was in her account. Not sure, if her profile was landed in someone else FB profile and they spent that RP's. However, there is not change in her stats and mafia strength.

    This is completely insane and these Zynga people are time again prove themselves that they are not worthy. They are only after money and thats also in trouble as after spending real money on this game and with their crap if the profile lands up in another person's hand, what they will do?
