There are many players out there who would like to see me quit the game. Their plan is to attack me non-stop until it happens. The truth of the matter is I don't really how many times I'm attacked and continual attacks don't interfere with my game. I only fight if there is an event requiring me to do so or new Fight Loot is introduced. These attacks don't stop me from achieving my goals. Take for example the Ice Season: 01 event. I fully mastered the Diamond Level with more than 4 days to spare.
The new Fight Loot has only been out for 2 days and I should be maxed out in about 5 days from now. All the efforts of my haters are in vain. Between keeping this blog current, answering questions on the fan page, participating in the Player Advisory Committee, beta testing for several script writers and taping the Informant Podcast, I stay pretty busy. I really don't have time to check my Player Updates and could care less who attacks me or how many times they have done so.
When the Assassin-a-Nator Family was created, the forum trolls went nuts and demanded that the name be changed (1). This didn't work so their next tactic was to say that the tag name {ASS} was offensive. I got a great laugh out of that. While watching Mafia Wars Live Episode 6, I just about spit out my soda laughing at the question below. Silly haters, don't they know that the there are no in game Rules of Conduct? Zynga doesn't have time to police the names of the 6,000 + Families that exist. The irony of it all is that the vast majority of the players complaining about me and the {ASS} Family use scripts themselves.
The haters should just stop reading my blog and take heart in knowing that if I quit Mafia Wars it will be because I'm fed up with the antics of Zynga and not their repeated attacks. Bullies suck!!!!

Now that was an awesome post! People are always going to knock those at the top. Which by the way you seem to be at, heels dug in and there is nothing anyone can do about it. It's awesome! Enjoy the ride! -Lonnie

ReplyDeleteGood post Jen. Some people lately seem to be hyperfocused on their issues with other players instead of playing their own game. Keep your chin up white chick :D
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you have confused haters with someone pressing for an answer to Zforum censorship issues... No one here cares one way or another about what you do. What we care about is that it is winked at while secretly punishing those that wish to discuss it openly. This has never been about you, or Spockholm, or PAC. Our stance is this: if it is allowed, we could be allowed to discuss it on the Zforum without fear of removal, infraction or banning. Believe it or not, we are on the same side on this issue. So you keep pushing the envelope and we will make every effort to use it to change the Zforum RoC. Maybe..just maybe.. then you can post a misspelled Assenin-o-nader without getting an infraction.
ReplyDeletePlease don't quit the game you and your friends are an excellent resource for easy experience. I hit my bully throttle on you in the first day and Now have hit the bully throttle on 6 other {ASS} members. Keep on healing.
ReplyDeleteNo in-game Rules of Conduct? Are you that naive? Of course there's an in-game Rules of Conduct. Have you ever seen someone named "Please change your name"? That was someone with an offensive name that Zynga changed.
ReplyDeleteNo one deserves to be attack non-stop especially someone who gives so much back to the community. Sad we have so many idiots in the community.. much respect to you and your staff who make this blog possible.
ReplyDeleteThe world belong to fools and mads!!
ReplyDeleteBloody bastards, when they take this for a game rather than their pity ego!
