Brazil Ruby Level Loot Event

The Brazil Ruby Level Loot Event has started. It will last for 8 days total so this isn't a permanent thing like many thought it would be. The loot items can only be collected from Brazil jobs that are mastered on the Ruby Level.
The helpmark doesn't give us a whole lot of information other than our Brazil Lockpick bonus won't work. I would like to know if there is a cap on how many items we can get, if loot items drop in specific Districts and if higher energy jobs drop more loot. At this time, there is nothing on the Official Mafia Wars Blog or Customer Support so we are on our own for the time being. Don't worry, I'm doing drop rates right now and will have the information we need soon. Hopefully Zynga will post something sooner.
Look on your Missions Bar to keep track of how you are doing in the event. Click on the Ruby icon to toggle between the invisible and visible modes.
Click on each of the seven loot items to get more information about them
Items will appear as all other loot items when doing jobs. Thanks to Yuen Man Wun for the screen shot.

    just had 2 levels worth of tries, tried 10000 energy on very first job/district, no loot and then the very last job/last district and got the 2 from the right, also stamina packs have just been introduced

    4 droped in Belem/20K energy spent: 2 Firefly, 1 Arabian and 1 Road Burn.

    Good to see even the FAQ has no idea whats going on

    Q: Is there a limit to the number of items that I can collect?
    A: There is not a limit to the number of items that you can collect or the number of mastery items that you can trade a full set in for

    Q: Is there a grand prize or bonus prize if I get a full set of Ruby Level Loot?
    A: No. But if you get all 7 rare gems, congrats! You are a rock star.

    I used 9K energy and got a firefly and banshee also in Belem (last job). New Ruby loot will not drop double if using crew double drop crew member.

    So let me get this straight... We waste energy (lots and lots) on levels we completed to ruby already for a few items? Sounds like a major waste of time and energy to me. 10k+ for one item and get nothing else for it? I am gonna just continue on my way doing things worth my time (Zynga thats just lame)

    After reading all this, i have a feeling i am going to drop this lot.....not worth it!!!So much energy spent? Looks like it is Belem where they are, problem is where....lol

    It's not a waste at all if one's done in every city. It's wonderful to have a "real" use for energy other than gaining NY cash to heal/get those wickedly hard banking achievements. And new items is always nice! I got in today after being AFK for 21h and did the "run", got the last few ices needed for level 5 diamond ice season badge and spent the energy in Brazil (approximately 36 0000 as a total) and got one of each except for the vest. Pretty good drop rate! Better than for ordinary Brazil loot in Taubate?

    I've plowed through 12k energy and not a single item dropped. Total waste. Just gonna go back to finishing levels that aint ruby yet!

    I got lots of them, all from "Sao Paolo: Taubate Prison"

    Got "20 23 15 23 19 22 24" of the items from left to right, and still looting more.

    It's such a great event for me as I mastered ruby level in the last district, as it gives up to 2.2 Exp/Energy ratio. So I never stop leveling up, and loot more items at the same time.

    I'm now Ruby at all level
    I choose to work on the last job,
    which is 810energy/1770exp....
    not bad for me...

    Just finished mine...I got my last missing item (Banshee) doing Rio de Janeiro: Centro's Ambush a Group of Neo-emporium. Cursed Mask also dropped!
