Betrayal In Bangkok Is Here (for some)

We knew it was coming and it wouldn't have been right without the news paper popup to let us know.
Here is all you need to know (sort of). Bangkok will be closed on next Wednesday at 4pm PDT.
If you don't see the Mission on your Mission Bar or Home Page Current Events Module, don't freak out. Just read the fine print on the popup. Yeah I know, it doesn't give good directions. The Mission is also slowly rolling out so if you don't get it, just wait a bit.

"Something has gone terribly wrong in Bangkok. Your local operations have fallen eerily silent, and you suspect the worst: betrayal! Start the mission to uncover the traitors before Bangkok is closed off. In this maze of deception, you'll need to forge a few passports, so get your Mafia to start sending you Forger's Gloves. You have limited time so start now!"

There are two clues to figuring this out. Click "Share" from the popup (use the yellow question mark next to the timer if you missed the popup).
It looks like we need Pirates to get started. The "Share" button generates this request.
Click on "Send Pirates" to help your mafia and you will get one too.
Find Forgers Gloves on the Free Gift Page. I'm not sure what we need them for yet but it looks like we will need them.
I accepted over 20 Forger's Gloves and send over 20 Pirates to my Mafia. I still don't have the Mission on my Mission Bar. The next thing I tried was to loot the Iron and Silks from fights and jobs.
And still no Mission. I'll have a walk through as soon as I get it and finish it. Mike Nestor was able to get it and here is a look at the Home Page Module and the first part of the Mission.

    Cant find th glove in th inventory list .. Not a loot item or a boost

    I have 12 452 Pirates, you think I have enough? Bangkok is of course long finished, lol

    Be careful, doing jobs in Bangkok will eat up all your 2x Mastery Boosts, even IF you have mastered Bangkok completely

    to get the mission to pop up i simply clicked "get started" then it looked like a mission window was trying to pop up but couldn't.
    i unframed and clicked get started again and it came up for me without collecting any items.

    The mission was already there on the mission bar for me. I did not click get started or anything.

    In typical Zynga fashion, they got two typed lines into this event before screwing it up. The newspaper date is wrong! It should say July 17th, not the 7th (as it states on the newspaper splash page). Even if the delivery boy took ten days to get us the paper, the 7th of July was a Thursday! For cryin' out loud Zynga... Can you just hire ONE person to proof read?!

    Why I don't have Bangkok missions? when I click on Missions see all next to Bangkok say EXPIRED
