Steal Of The Summer Bug

In my post about the Steal Of The Summer, I mentioned that you need to go to the Marketplace to make your purchases or they will not count towards your progress for the Wrist Rockets (1). It's always been this way during any Marketplace Promotion I've ever participated in.
This has always been an issue with any Marketplace Promotion I've ever participated in. If you go back and review my post about the Black Friday Raid which was written on Nov 26th of last year, you will see this happened with that promotion as well (1).
This problem was addressed on the forums and Cerulean Master states that it is in fact a bug and it's been reported. I wonder why it's taking them so long to fix it?

What you are describing is a bug which has been reported. For the time being, please make all purchases via the Marketplace.

    they just now how to make new fooking events not fix the old bugs.
    and they always say now things take effort and wtf effer is required in copy pasting the old fooking code beoz it still have the same foooking bugs.

    I'm not gonna be rude as the previous commentor, but a 5 RP-buy doesn't count, read the fine print!
    I don't going to dig after old rules for the Black Friday Raid, but this time you can't blame a bug!

    Even worse is the fact that I made purchases like your supposed to in the market place and they met the criteria to get the wrist rockets and they are not in my inventory even though it said I got them. So right now I am short at least 5 wrist rockets, thanks Zynga.
    On a side note when they first put this money maker up they were selling the benefactor for a lowly 7 RP, which made it a pretty good bargain.
