Platinum Wire Transfer Incentive

Share:

Players who are in the Platinum Purchase Program received the following e-mail from Zynga. It looks like Zynga is being very generous and offering 2 Skill Points for every $100.00 spent. You have to spend a minimum of $500.00 to do a wire transfer and at a rate of 10 Reward Points per dollar, that's 5,000 total. Most players who utilize this program are serious fighters and spend most of them building items for Skill Points so the 10 free Skill Points are probably somewhat appreciated. It's better than nothing!
Thanks to Mike Nestor for the copy of his email.

  1. And here I was looking to spend $100,000 in 1 day...

Once again Zynga has screwed up by only allowing me to spend $30000....hehe!

  5. What they don't say is that YOU have to absorb all costs for the wire transfers. So if your bank charges you 25 bucks, you essentially pay 25 bucks more for those RP's. I did it once and never again.

  7. I wonder why people complain about those who pay for Mafia Wars. Its them who make the game free for everyone... :)

  8. People spending a few bucks here & there on this game is fine & a sure thing is that they get no returns or anything tangible for the money spent just a little satisfaction in a game they enjoy...

But lets be blunt those BIG spenders have issues plain & simple regardless of if they can afford it or not it's no different to a gambling addiction! at least with gambling you occasionally win & get a return....

For these people in my opinion it's more than just a addiction it's the ego boost & admiration etc also for needing to win at any cost! rather pathetic & sad for not just a click FB game but 1 that has so many problems & glitches that affect thousands of players daily...

To think anyone would spend upto 30k a day in order to beat others in a game that honestly requires little & next to no skill at all to play is a reflection that some players have a problem that they dont have the balls to admit to..(much like gamblers)

& as for spenders making the game free lmao! if MW ended tomorrow Zynga will keep rolling on! p.s belive it or nor farmville is & has always been their biggest money making game! go figure...

Last thing how crap is the offer from Zynga!!! 2 skill points for every $100 LMFAO! thats it? it's a virtual game skill points & rp etc are nothing more than virtual goods that Zynga create in your account upon purchase... it really is a license to print as much money as they want!

  9. ^well said. To spend that much money on virtual items in a virtual world when those people probably have family, neighbours, communities, brothers and sisters in humanity thinking of where their next meal will come from.

It is a mental issue, just like the above poster said.

  11. Essentially Zynga is a Commercial Entity, they're not here to provide Freebies, they're here to Make Money. Providing Freebies is the Bait ..... It's your choice whether to go intravenous or not ;-) I have never spent a Rupee on the game and I'm having fun !

  12. I'm the anonymous from the first post...

The argument that people are going hungry doesn't work for me...

it's like telling a child a to finish their plate because someone's going hungry somewhere in the world....guess what....you only end up giving the child indigestion....because let's face it...that food on the plate isn't miraculously going to end up in some poor bastard's plate...

You work for your money and you spend it...on food, shelter, entertainment...whatever...it's your money

That said I do agree that MW is a convenient outlet for latent bullies and a lot of people who are OCD...

We've all seen it in the those players who sit on weaker players or send real-life threatening messages asking the poor sod to pay up real money to get of their case...

we've all seen it in of our MW family who've got strong enough to demand a "cult of worship" around them...or pay the price....yeah, right...stupid little f*#%@%k's....

And yes people who are willing to spend 1000's of dollars on this game are screwed up in the head...and, no....the idea of it being a hobby or spending the same amount on other leisure pursuits etc...is bullcrap...hehe!

And yes, MW will probably die out soon seeing the numbers going down....but no Zynga will not go under....there's always a new game...

    That's life...hmmm

  14. $30k?!?!!?

I hope Zynga releases a list of those names and addresses. Those people only know stupid repeatiitve point and click, they will be easy burglary targets.

  16. if you play the game with your brain you can earn reward points free all day long every time you level twice so dont fall for Zyngas greedy practice and to the one who said their helping the economy how is that when they enjoy watching people go in debt just to get a buck. so to me that hinders the economy not helps and if you know anything about business if zynga ever fails all they have to do is start a new business with a new name and start over again like most big companies do but most dont know that because their mind is blind to the facts. oops i think that was more then two cents worth more like twenty lol just play the game and have fun thats all cheers :)

  17. I admit, I have spent money on this game. But, it was only to contribute to disaster relief in Japan and here in the U.S. And hopefully like it said all proceeds went toward that cause. Zynga has gotten in trouble in the past for pocketing half. But I am trusting, and I feel like I have helped do what I can. BTW how many skill points could I get for 30k$$ lol. I would hate to see anyone go bankrupt on a virtual game

  18. It's really crazy idea to make this social game going for charges game, everything in this game must buy Reward Point.. even that only click hospital.. they must launch new feature that makes all users can exchange all item or stat to Reward Point..
Example: for heal click hospital, spend $20M (NY Cash) or buy 2 RP.. so user can trade their money too from $20M (NY Cash) to get 2 RP.. i think this is a logic idea..
