A few days ago, I told you about the two new fighting boosts added to the Free Gift Page
(1).
At the time, you could add these boosts to your wishlist and they were giftable. If you have decent attack or defense scores, these boots are pretty powerful because they add 25% of your attack/defense skills to your score for one fight.
They were recently made non-giftable and it is suspected the reason is because they were being sold in bulk on the black market. In a post I made a few months ago, I told you that one of the ways loot items are produced in bulk is through cloning scripts that are still used today
(1). We can only accept 200 Free Gifts a day and each gift contains 3 boosts. It would be quite difficult to acquire enough of these in bulk through normal game play, even with multiple accounts. I don't know if accounts with too many of these boosts were rolled back but we have seen Zynga take items away that they deemed were produced by cloning scripts

Many players saw this message going around Skype and their inboxes. I've never seen it so can't verify it's validity. One day after the message was circulated, the boosts were became non-giftable. They still aren't available for purchase in the Marketplace so Zynga probably didn't want others selling them either.
