Every now and then players come across profiles that just don't make sense. Sometimes they are from injected accounts and sometimes they are Zynga developer accounts. I've posted about one like this in the past and shortly after it was removed from the game.
We have another profile that is getting some attention. It's been posted on the fan page and I've received several emails about it. The player in question this time is Corleone who is a level 140.
When you attack him, you learn that his defensive equipment scores are 337,832 and you get your ass kicked.
When you view all the items used, you get a feeling that something isn't right. The game dictates that we can only have 1 of each mastery item and Corleone managed to equip all of his 486 mafia members with them.
If you don't believe me, try for yourself. I sure hope Corleone doesn't start crying because I posted his link. If he does, I'm sure I'll read about it on his own forum and he will get all of his friends to sit on me and leave bad comments on my blog. It's a risk I don't care too much about. Mafia Wars is a game about fighting and MW profile links are public information. If you don't want yours to be posted anywhere then start playing FarmVille.

ReplyDeleteThis is the fb profile associated with Corleone's mafia wars account. Highly unlikely that it is a developer, especially with their lack of inventory.

ReplyDeleteThe account has been changed now. i just attacked him & won. He now only has defense skill of 2420. Makes no sense though because his inventory is way better than 2420... Shows in the private hidden inventory screen he only has 60 vehicles but his inventory used shows way more. Oh well, at least I didn't get my ass kicked :oP

ReplyDeleteIt's a dev account, the whole point of me posting this on the fan page was because we made such a big deal about it way back then. It was no glitch, they can do whatever they want with their accounts. Shortly after this post, the account disappeared and when it eventually came back the stats were way below normal.
